You can't float a currency like naira and expect positive result and that's why everywhere is tight

1650 is not the real value of naira, naira is currently undervalued big time

Since the yorubas in general and South West Told us that Tinubu is the Best they can offer, it means the almajiris in core Northern parts are more smarter.politically than the sophisticated wasted region,

Imagine the South west presenting a hardened drug baron,, a man with identity crisis and still supporting Him despite the failure and hunger he unleashed on the entire country,

I want to summarize that the entire South west as a region are more tribalistic and nespotic than any other tribe in the entire universe,

Infact the hate and tribalism From the yorubas against other Nigerians are stronger and thicker than Body odour,

Can you imagine after supporting Their darling daddy Buhari for a woeful 8yrs, they are now supporting another supersonic failure called Tinubu for another 8yrs, it show's that we have lot's of educated illiterates amongst the yorubas, even Pa Awolowo will be crying in his grave by now, what a wasted tribe.

I told some zombies here that Dangote's impact on naira value will be close to zero and they insulted me, infact some even called me a pessimist that doesn't wish the country well.
I am still laughing here and will be watching, for those willing to learn, Dangote's export earnings are not coming into the Nigerian economy, it's either being used to service loans offshore or it's moved to his escrow account with JP Morgan and if your argument is that it will save us FX used to import petrol then no that we are also losing FX with the crude given to Dangote to refine in Naira for same hence the net effect is zero.

No big deal. This is the true value of your currency as at now and not the artificial value of the past. What is of utmost importance now is the volatility which isn't much.
Just keep shut
Keep quiet .

Na true value we go chop?
When Tinubu knew he had no idea running the country he should have maintained the cosmetic value and allow people breathe.
Now he has scattered everything and he's looking confused too

Like John the Baptist, I am the lonely voice in the wilderness.
Like an oracle (even though I am not an economist), I could accurately predict the trajectory of Nigerian economy well in advance.

Some people thought it was unpatriotic to be honest.

That's where you people still get it wrong, no currency has a true value, the same thing you guys said when Tinubu initially removed it and it rose to 900 and you guys said it has found its true value and I replied you guys then that it has not true value, look at it today...

There is nothing like true value of currency, I told you guys then that as long as Tinubu keeps doing the wrong things the currency will keep falling and that the naira can go as much as 10,000 to a dollar...

Keep doing the wrong things and watch your currency go down and vice versa, good governance is the true value of any country's currency...

That's how you guys keep dishing out nonsense analysis in support of nonsense governance

Before Tinubu naira official value was 400/$ while parallel market was 750/$
Can you explain what exactly happened in Nigeria to move the true value from those two to over 1600/$

Just like what is happening to fuel now the exchange rate back then was subsidized. It was fixed by administrative fiat not minding the effect of demand and supply. Now naira is floated which means that demand and supply determines the rate.

No sir. Economic activity of an economy determines the true value of the currency of a nation and not "good governance" unless what you mean by good governance is good policies that stimulates economic activity.

Please it's not everyone that is interested in politics as you are.

The day I read Cardoso's speech at the national Assembly questions and answer with the senate, I said this one doesn't sound serious at all, he just kept on beating around the bush with English.

Tinubu has shown that Lagos can be governed by almost anybody, the scam has been exposed, I only pity those who still hope in Tinubu's government.
So what makes Lagos governable and responsive that other states don't have by default

You lost me there.
I was thinking it will end with something like "if Bola Tinubu didn't win and become the president, then mess up everything, we would have been thinking he would have been the most 'sophisticated' president Nigeria never had...". You know?
Like the other guy that you guys always frame as the "best president that Nigeria nevwr had".

Economic activity is only an aspect of good governance..

Bad governance will cripple economic activity to the ground, you think countries like Ukraine, Syria and so on fighting wars will have booming economic activities as usual?

It is due to poor governing decisions....

I'm even going far, let's even look at our own here, is it not poor governing decisions that has brought about insecurity affecting farmers, transporters and so on?

That is just even 1 aspect...

You guys just come out and talk rubbish to defend nonsense....
