That is not the story.
The story is one of a town selling out to Big Business and the town leadership not doing the prerequisite work once they did.
The town was dying and so the leadership gave sweetheart deals to big companies to open factories there.
I'm sure there was corruption involved, kickbacks and some of the town leadership probably owned real estate they knew would appreciate.
So, the companies needed workers.
The townspeople were on drugs and wouldn't take the jobs as the businesses say (predominately white Republican town).
So Haitians heard about the jobs and started moving there in droves. Now, these are all legal immigrants, some even permanent residents.
They are supposedly getting paid $19/hour with a 401k and paying taxes.
Again, the town didn't prepare, so now the healthcare system is overrun and housing has gone up (probably some corruption there).
And all this started to occur when Trump was in office.
But again, this is a Republican town, with not wealthy white people, so why should they care to actually do a feasibility study before giving sweethearts deals to big factories. You know who needs regulations and competent government and such.
So one hand you love that your town is growing and no longer dying and making money on the other hand you hate them black people. Which do you think will win out?

The town was dying and the white citizens of the town were either on drugs or didn't want the jobs that were newly created.
So they basically put up a Help Wanted ad and legal immigrants moved to this town.
Again, these were LEGAL IMMIGRANTS, allowed to work, taking jobs that the residents didn't want.
And all this started under Trump in 2018.

Now you can dislike immigration, but you can't make up the facts of this story.

But let's go with that. How does that explain the overload of haitan? A first world country does not reach that level unless there is a delibrate neglect. If there are job opening as you say, There is a coordination between immigration and labour ministry to find out extimatedly how many openings are there vs number required to fill in that vacancy. It can never gets to a level were they over run streets. People were coming out to tell there end. Why make it sound like group of junk yard lazy groupies beefing immigrant when we know that's not what they are telling. They were coming forward to tell of not only jobs but social life being over an by strangers and facilities not enough to compensate.
