Legendary comedian Ali Baba takes aim at insecure men, particularly those who feel that women are earning more money than they are.

The comedian, who calls such behavior insecure, vented his annoyance at guys who let their financial status determine their value in an intense Instagram post. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

In response to a conversation between two X users, he made his statement. The users described how women were able to save their marriages by taking lower-paying professions instead of high-paying ones.

Alibaba responded by making fun of men who, out of vanity or jealousy, would ask their higher-earning partners to quit from their jobs. He ridiculed these men, calling them “lazy bumcums,” and questioned the reason for their requests.

The comment has since gone viral, sparking debates online about gender roles, relationships, and how finances can affect self-esteem, particularly for men.

The Nigerian culture wants us to believe that growing OLD means growing in wisdom. But the fact is you CANNOT outgrow stupid.

Minimum wage in Nigeria is #70K. ANY man who earns #1.5M is DEFINITELY not a "lazy bumcum".

The argument he made that men who make less than their wives are LAZY and ENVIOUS and need to be "challenged and upgrade their financial status" is the same argument that women who earn more than their husbands use to JUSTIFY treating them like SHIT and DISRESPECTING them endlessly.

Women see men earning less than them as BENEATH them. And they DON'T hesitate to treat them like SUBHUMANS.

That's why relationships like that RARELY works.

It's NOT that the men are lazy or insecure. It's that women will inevitably RESENT a spouse that's less successful than they are.

For a relationship to work, the woman needs to feel like the man is SUPERIOR. Finance is the easiest way to measure that.
