Someone should kindly help solve this quantitative

Re: Help Me Solve This Please by MrBrownJay1(m): 10:57pm On Sep 19, 2024
Lantern quantitative reasoning book 6 test 1
so you came to NL expecting us to do your homework, abi? so that instead of learning, you will waste time playing games on your Playstation... or any other game console?

every year you kids come on NL asking the same damn question... but if you were remotely intelligent, you can easily find the answer with Google. if the question was to find free games to play, now you people become experts, right?

this exact question has been asked on NL at least 3 times.... use your brain (just a little) and you shall find your answer.

Danmmm even the example is not helping out grin
Its further confusing me

Oga stop all these.. If you cant give solution or solve problems, just let people be.

very simple primary 5 math you cant even solve?
multiply all the numbers at the bottom then divide by 10 to get the number at the top!
so 1st answer is 15 aka 5x6x5=150 divided by 10, that gives you the 15 at the top....
2nd answer is 2 because 2x8x5=80 divided by ten gives you the 8 at the top

indeed, life aint that hard (if/when you use your brain wisely)... yo can also check it there. enjoy:

You're right. 10 is the magic figure.

You could have taken it easy with the lashing. Everyone operates on different levels.

where did u see 10 in the example?

So u kept an imaginary 10 somewhere n expect people to know d answer, I checked n checked for good 5 minutes I couldn't get a way through n I decided to check d comments

This is the reason why many schooling abroad is always easy than schooling in Nigeria

No white man will hide 10 somewhere n b expecting students to manufacture it from nowhere

what a shame?! some of you people need help..i swear...common primary 5 problem so easy to solve, you cant even reason properly.
ok sir... when you have a better answer to the above problem (that i have already solved), let us know.
have a fantastic day!

I agree I need help

In all the examples, tell me where we can find 10?
Just show me 10

i dont have to show you 10, you have to use your brain to find the right formula to discover 10. AKA THE SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM. your job was to figure out how to solve this problem...and the formula to this problem is that you multiply all the numbers at the bottom and then divide that number by 10 to get the number at the top.

so now, if you use THAT LOGIC, you can solve all the problems on that page, regardless of which number is missing, because you have the formula already.

I am telling u the same thing bro

This is what makes learning in Nigeria hard because teachers/lecturers expect u to bring a magic figure in from nowhere n assume it to get your answer

No where in the example was it stated that students can apply a magic number, so u gave an example that isn't clear and even had the guts to claim students should use their brain to manufacture a number

Guy things shouldn't b that way, if 10 is necessary y dont u add it or give them a clue

I know for sure many students will fail n u will call them olodo but this same students u tag olodo cos u yourself don't know what u are doing will go abroad, 10 will b added to the questions n they will pass n we begin to wonder y people we call dulards in Nigeria make it abroad

I can bet u have never been a teacher

Like seriously if a teacher should fail my son for this kind of unreasonable question I will take it up

I will just call the head teacher n tell him or her to bring me 10 from d example or where it is advised to use a magic number

Learning isn't hard na Nigerians dey make things hard for themselves

I forgot to ask

Which formula did u use to discover 10?

the job of a teacher is to make sure you use your brain fully/wisely to solve any problem... if you look at the example given, then a little brain wrestling will easily make you understand that if you divide by ten the result of the multiplication of the bottom numbers, you get the top number. you job was to find that formula and thereafter use it to solve all the other problems.

bro this is a primary 5 problem, the person i called OLODO is not the OP.

Sharpsharp00123:

Which formula did u use to discover 10?
you dont need to be a scientist to solve it. the most SIMPLE BASIC FORMULA... imagine A B C are the bottom numbers and X is the top numbers
to find X then (A x B x C) ÷10 = X if you understand this formula then you can easily solve all the above problems.

there was NO QUESTIONS ASKED... there was only two examples given to you and you had to use your brain to understand these examples, and find the formula in order to solve the other problems where a number was missing.

if the example picture was the picture below, then the FORMULA would be to ADD the bottom numbers and multiply by 5 to get the top number... different example will give you a different formula. so if A B C were the bottom number and X was top number then (A+B+C) x 5 = X

so u are telling me it's reasonable to pick magic number from somewhere in solving a problem?

Is that how u teach your students?

Let make me understand

lol, i am NOT a teacher (and therefore maybe its difficult for you to understand what i am saying to you), i just used my brain to understand the examples and came out with the solution that the OP was looking for.

you have to find the solution, however it may be...whether it is to add subtract divide or multiply by 75 or 2000 or even 1 million sef. so you want the teacher to give you the solution to the problem, so you dont have to use your brain to find it?!?!

no wonder

U aren't a teacher so I don't expect u to understand

I was a teacher for good 2 years, immediately after my service
I was running a program within d state n so as to kill boredom I took to teaching

It's obvious u have never been a teacher from your explanation, I taught chemistry at SSS level n I can tell u as advance as their brain is compared to pry five pupils

U have to break it down fully for them n make it self explanatory

Go n teach balancing of chemical equations with this your method of importing figures n see all your students fail

Oga in teaching u don't assume n start talking crap by telling them to manufacture figures

I don't blame u though,u have never been in d system before

Student wey u break it down for self get problem let alone when u assume they will manufacture a figure off hand

Just Dey play

brotha teacher (that cant even comprehend a simple pry 5 math problem)
let me help you... someone asked a SIMPLE QUESTION: aka find the solution to above problem.
so i did and gave them the answer, which is: if you multiply the bottom numbers and divide the result by 10, you get the top number simple thing to understand, that even the OP himself understood it and was able to solve all the rest.
but you, supposedly a teacher, cant even understand this simple answer? and is asking yeye questions such as the below:

10 is part of the solution that the teacher is asking you to find!!!!!!

I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE EITHER A TEACHER OR AN EDUCATED ADULT (that cant understand such a basic math problem)
Re: Help Me Solve This Please by MrBrownJay1(m): 7:33pm On Sep 20, 2024
i gave you another example where the number to find is different, and USING YOUR BRAIN is whats needed to find the solution.

don't worry

When u are assigned to take a class of even SSS 3 students

Just give them that same page n tell them to solve d problem, then let's see what happens

bro this is basic math reasoning to solve a problem and find the missing number... the same basic math reasoning that you would need to find the missing number if i wrote 1 + _ = 2
