Good day all.

Pla I need advise on what I can do.

I'm in the UK with my partner and our little baby. I'm on skilled worker visa with NHS which I'm allowed to bringing in Dependant.

Unfortunately I lost my mother in law in January this year and my wife had 3 siblings back home, I'm want to know if there is way to bring one of the siblings age 11year old as my Dependant. I don't mind of adopting or any other way I can bring her in. I spoke with their father and he has give consent.

How can I bring her to 🇬🇧 next year.

Thank you.

Initiate the adoption first so she will be your daughter....

But note: if the adoption date is close to visa application date...UKVI can refuse the application that the adoption was done for the purpose of travelling to guide against child trafficking....so understand what your will do cool cool cool

The required 1 month fund for CoS visa applications. Can I deposit it into my account then or they want to see the monthly and daily inflows of funds to determine proof of funds?

Please, this is important. I need answers.

Good evening, please i need a bit of guidance on how to go forward from here as I am a bit confused.

I picked my passport today and it has the 3 months vignette. Its for a 5years work visa with COS issued.

Please help me... What do I do from here?
How will I get the BRP at UK airport?

Is there anything else I have to do apart from booking my flight and preparing my personal stuffs ready?

My final destination is Hertfordshire. When booking for flights, should i pick London as destination and will get a train to my final location?

My job also requires me having a car.

What is the cheapest car i can get in UK? I have been driving automatic for 8years here but i have someone that will teach me manual this week in case i can't get automatic in UK.
Any idea how i can get a good decent car in UK at very affordable price?

House please i need all your guidance 🙏🙏🙏🙏.

I am a female and i will be going alone.

I .....
Since your experience is in driving automatic cars, stick to automatic cars in the UK.

Dont try driving manual car as a learner in the UK, traffic laws are much stricter, stick to automatic since you have driven it for 8 years. Also poor driving can cause you a police stop, and forget your intl license, they will seize your car if they think you do not know how to drive.

It may help you to give some time before you start driving in the uk. Learn the road signs and the area first.

Also they drive on the LHS, so you need to feel comfortable with this change before driving on busy roads.

If u book now ...u should be able to get tickets around that 1.2M but there might be one or two stopovers ...Qatar airways is good, so u wont have to worry about separate transit visas....

.but if dont want stop overs.....u can take british airways but that will be very expensive

Good morning. My husband is on health care visa. Can he work with Royal mail this coming Christmas for mail sorting..It's a seasonal job for 1 month or 2. Does he need to update his visa because of that or there is no need for that?

Good morning everyone. I am a complete novice about this traveling stuff. I have an uncle in the UK in his 70's who is already a British citizen. What can he do for me to help me to fast track immigrating to the UK through the skilled work visa/ health care route. I am a civil servant and a graduate of Agricultural Economics and Extension. I don't need to border my uncle financial wise. Can he help me seek a job there? Thanks in anticipation for your response.

If u are on care visa.... U can only do additional 20hrs job that is also the job u are sponsored for, or jobs on the shortage list, or volunteer jobs .....
Any other job must be updated i.e with sponsorship.....

A lot of pple are doing it oooo...I mean it's not easy to survive in the UK when u dnt have enough shift on ur care job.......but who knows how these things will backfire when applying for ILR.

..better to be safe than sorry

U are asking us what ur uncle could do for you....?? Don't u think he's the one u should ask if he can help u look around for such jobs?

See ..unless ur uncle owns a care home or his friend or close associate has a care home where they can just talk to each other and easily employ.. U will have to apply like everyone else is doing or do it the street way like some pple do.....

Take note of everything that @advanceDNA has responded.

In addition:

- You will get your BRP after you get in. You should get an email when it is ready and where you'll pick it up. You won't be needing it at the airport. At the border control, know everything about your new job. Also, know everything about where you will be staying. Be prepared to answer any questions.

- Turkish and Qatar airways are great. Where in Hertfordshire? Stevenage? Hitchin? Watford? There is a straight train from Gatwick Airport to Stevenage. Air Peace (direct flight) lands at Gatwick. I stay in Luton, so I can answer a few questions you have on Hertfordshire.

- Very good to stick with automatic you are used to, though manual cars are cheaper. First time driving in the UK is NOT easy. New rules, new styles etc

- All the best on your new adventure. May the UK favour you

Do not buy COS and come here, you will suffer rather go for NVQ in health and social care or go for Forklif training and apply for job directly.
The only place people fail in this job hunt. Your CV and personal statement must be ATS compliant. No ATS is same because of the Key words used to advertise the job.
Thanks
Any free NVQ courses?

Dear

Regarding visa - GWF

For -

It is noted that you have made this Skilled Worker visa application and have paid the ‘Immigration Salary List’ visa fee. However your DCoS (C2has been assigned under the occupation code 5232 which is not listed in Appendix Immigration Salary List.

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-immigration-salary-list

• Please confirm that you wish to withdraw your application to enable you to apply under the correct category.

Please confirm your withdrawal within 10 working days to worksponsoreddocumentrequests@homeoffice.gov.uk quoting your application GWF reference in the subject line.

Please note – if you do not withdraw your application a decision will be made on your application on the information available.

Kind regards,

UK Decision Making Centre
Hello Pjreilly,

I’m facing the same issue you had. I received an email about paying the incorrect fee for the UK Skilled Worker Visa because I selected "yes" for the Immigration Salary List. I have a few questions and hope you can help since you've been through this before.

Question 1: I received the "Incorrect Fees Paid" email and sent a request to withdraw my application. Do I also need to withdraw it from the UK visa online dashboard?

Question 2: Can I get a refund for the IHS and visa fee? How long does it take to get the refund? Will I receive an email about the refund, and if so, when?

Question 3: It’s been 3 days, and I haven’t received any response from the UK authorities. How long does it take to get my passport back? Will I receive an email about my passport return? If yes, how long did it take for you to get the email and receive your passport after that?

Question 4: How long does the entire process take?

I hope you can assist me with this situation.

Thank you.
