In a viral video making waves on social media, a group of Nigerian young men, suspected to be involved in internet fraud, were seen proudly displaying traditional items like a calabash, local sponge, and black soap. These items were reportedly given to them by a herbalist to help them 'cash out' big online. The men, unashamedly showing off their alleged means of ‘good fortune,’ were also seen flaunting expensive phones, flashy gold chains, and bundles of cash in an ostentatious display of wealth.

This brazen act didn’t sit well with many netizens. Some labeled their actions as ignorant and foolish, with one user commenting, "These boys just too dumb." Others condemned the glorification of criminal lifestyles, calling out the detrimental effect it has on hardworking individuals. One aggrieved commenter stated, "I, personally, will keep condemning these nonsense lifestyles that are mostly funded by the high level of criminality that is now affecting some legit hustlers in some spaces they find themselves in. Criminality is taking us further backwards and we must all condemn it."

The video has sparked heated discussions online, with calls for stronger moral values and a crackdown on fraudulent activities that tarnish the reputation of genuine hustlers in Nigeria.
