We always deceive ourselves by thinking that God or Karma will deal ruthlessly with bad, evil people, but this is clearly NOT the reality.
The best we can do as humans is to continue to strengthen our security and justice system so that evil, criminal, wicked acts are not allowed to thrive in our society.
