Aboki was not verse in choice of words he could quickly use to identify the phone, he used the lady prositute-like dressing and his sharia mentality to fabricate urgent name without ever thinking of what may be the repercussions due to his level of illiteracy. Though, good as the lady express herself, but when she gets home in her closet, she should reflect on what happened and what exactly triggered such.

She should correct herself in indecent dressing because even though God used aboki to preach to her, she needs to understand that there are many men that will be thinking the same things in their minds as they see her, but won't talk out. She should make a change in her future dressing, aboki didn't really mean to offend her, it was his level of education and the choice of word he could quickly fabricated to identify her phone
I had to go back to look at her dressing and I'm asking what the hell is wrong with her dressing? She for wear agbada? Instead of us to condemn what is wrong we're talking about dressing. Mtchhhheeewwwww

Gistmedia10:
An incident at a local phone charging station has sparked widespread outrage after a woman discovered that her power bank had been labeled with the derogatory term "Ashawo" (meaning prostitute) by the charging agent.

The woman, who had entrusted the young charging agent with her power bank, returned to collect it, expecting it to be fully charged. However, upon inspection, she noticed the offensive word scrawled on her device. Furious, she confronted the boy in front of a growing crowd, asking, “Have I ever slept with you before? If you didn’t know my name, why didn’t you ask me?” shocked

Eyewitnesses captured the heated exchange on video, where the woman can be seen demanding an explanation for the disrespectful label. Background voices of bystanders can be heard condemning the agent's action, with many expressing disbelief at the blatant attempt to tarnish the woman's reputation.

"I don't understand how he could do something like that. This is uncalled for and humiliating," said one of the onlookers, clearly disturbed by the incident.

The charging agent, a young man, seemed speechless and struggled to provide any reasonable justification for his actions, standing silently as the enraged woman and other witnesses voiced their disgust.

This news is similar to a woman requesting for toothpick to pick off lumps of water “stuffed
“ between her teeth.
Very useless.

Seun what is going on with nairaland? What kind of bitter and demented souls reside herehuh How did it get this bad? Instead of some people to condemn this, some are saying she's not meant to get angry.

Hopeless generation! God forbid!!!

[quote author=Zonefree post=132125585]Y'all will agree with me that a non ashawo will never pick offence with the inscription.

Only ashawos pick offence when you call them ashawo. When you see two ashawo quarreling, there's every tendency that one must call the other ashawo.

E no get wetin dey vex ashawo pass to address them by their profession.

Nigerian girls should learn to be proud of what they do for a living. There's dignity in labour.

I agree with you.

Derogatory language is bad. Profiling is bad.

But for the commenter above who said, "women's treatment", men face the same thing. The only difference is that men ignore such a treatment most times but women take it seriously every time. I don't mean to trivialise the problem. I simply mean that the both genders should be rescued from the treatment.
Talk for yourself; derogative insults get level.

If you label a phone with the word okobo(homosexual), man men will kill the shop attendant.

It doesn't justify the act.
What attributes revealed that she's a prostitute?
And even if she is, how is that a problem with the aboki man?
Why would he attach such to her powerbank..?
This is like a doctor addressing one of his clients as barren in front of everyone in public.
That lady should have recorded everything and quietly sued the mad man..
She would be surprised how the judge will swiftly convict the man in Nigeria.
Ask about those young idiots that called Mercy Chinwe unprintable names.

Normally a power bank is an ashawo because it allows anything to plug inside it.

So, to you now it is not serious? Imagine going to collect your power Bank and noticed it has been inscribed 'thief' on it by someone that had no knowledge of how you live your life. Just say no to profiling. It is worse than you can ever imagine.

If you actually looked at her again and again, but couldn't find what is bad in her dressing. It properly means you dress indecently at the same level. There is no way you will see what is bad in her dressing when you yourself hide under such immoral dressing to call it trending fashion. Aboki plainly said what would have been in the mind of many bad guys untold which can trigger and increases chances of being raped if met in lonely places. God uses situation to preach to her, she should learn from it.

Aboki serves as her real mirror in this context that has reflected what may trigger danger for her in the future if such immoral dressing continues and come across bad guys. Even the guy wearing "jean" that was trying to touch her was already sexually arouse. If a bad guy meets her in a lonely place, her dressing can facilitate chances of her being raped
