I don't think airlines can intentionally be pricing themselves out of business . The high cost is due to high operational cost , they have to pay staff , buy and maintain aircrafts with dollars and many other factors .

I remember booking aero flights ✈️ then in 2010 for 8k. Sometimes you go wake up for night to search and find it at 6k, boom 💥 you will quickly book it. Then you try understand the price algorithm to get it very cheap

Nigeria is a failed state, get it?! The people don't go to university to learn and be better people, but to obtain bragging rights and remain how their forefathers were. They don't build airport because it is needed but because it is their sign of "doing something big", of course with imported expertise (we have enough mules here for manual labour)
