Tinubunomics Dividends - Exxon To Invest $10 Billion In Nigeria’s Deepwater Oil by Kemetian(op):
This is a major victory for Tinubunomics.

Congrats to Mr President. This deal will help to increase oil output to 3 million barrels a day or more, up from the current 1.8 million bpd.

Exxon Proposes $10 Billion Investment in Nigeria’s Deepwater Oil

By Charles Kennedy - Sep 26, 2024

U.S. supermajor ExxonMobil has proposed an investment of $10 billion in Nigeria’s deepwater oil resource development, Stanley Nkwocha, spokesman and senior special assistant to the Nigerian President, said in a statement on Thursday.

Nigeria’s Vice President Kashim Shettima “welcomed ExxonMobil's proposed $10 billion investment in Nigeria's deep-water oil operations, describing it as a clear testament to the administration's economic reforms and investment-friendly policies,” says the statement.
Shettima on Wednesday held a high-level meeting with ExxonMobil executives on the sidelines of the ongoing 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the Nigerian presidency said.

E lo fokan bale, the enemies of Nigeria will call it fake news as usual.
Beyond the current price of rice there's no way they can see this as being beneficial to them.

Tinubu thinks long-term.

If he had not ended fuel subsidy and floated the naira, this investment would never have happened.

This is the ultimate case of ''moving the nation from consumption to production''.

Now we can look forward to an annual budget approaching $60 Billion as opposed to the current $35 billion.

Tinubu is a long-term strategist.

Stop dabbling in areas you know next to nothing about. E&P investments have nothing to do with floating the naira and removing fuel subsidy. APC can only recruit the dumbest amongst us to defend everything this government does.

They are leaving because they cannot afford to invest in an unsubsidised Nigerian economy.

They are EGUNJE investors. Ignore them. Others will take their place.

This is Nigeria after all.

Nonsense. So why didn't they do it under Buhari?

They favour the new economic direction.

According to economic experts, ''There may be increase in exports as a result of the Naira float. The value of the Naira may decline with the free float, thereby making Nigerian goods for foreign consumers less expensive. This can encourage companies that are focused on exports, boost revenue from foreign exchange, and lessen the nation's dependency on oil exports. It would encourage economic diversification and contribute to the creation of a stronger, more durable economic system.

......International investors may have more faith in a country's ability to implement market-driven policies if the exchange rate mechanism is flexible..''

MR Man, the project has NOT been formally approved by the Nigerian govt. It was a PROPOSAL by Exxon to invest the said amount, and they have outlined what they want to do.

This happened at the UN at a meeting held between VP Shettima and Exxon CEO.

After the meeting Shettima announced the proposal by Exxon.

Tinubu will now finalise the whole thing and then when they sign the agreement/contract etc, THAT is when Exxon may announce.

But they will not announce to the world that they have offered a $10 billion investment proposal to Nigeria.

It is the job of the Nigerian govt to announce that. So that Nigerians can discuss it and know how far.

So I met this guy through a colleague, he said he is an agent and he could help us relocate with work sponsorship. Myself and my colleagues, together (with other people we referred the agent to) started with him in February 2024. He ran the Schengen work visa sponsorship with him. The name of his business is *unstoppable travel and logistics*. We did medicals through our teeth ( because it's quite on the high side), paid for every other things which were expensive too.

Before, we started this process, I went as far as checking online if he had scammed anyone before now. But none came out.

The reason I am putting this out is in case someone wants to do any transactions with the said guy in the future, they should avoid
