But there's no way Israel alone would have done a lot against them when they were just getting established as a country. The whole allies armed and trained them and helped established them.

A single air defense interception costs 50 to 100k dollars. Do you know how much each ammunition cost? Do you have an idea how much it takes to manufacture one missile launcher or how much each guarded precision missiles cost? Can israel achieve any of this without American funding? America funded the Iron Dome and developed it along with Jewish scientists.
