Bishop Oyedepo calls Pastor Adeboye father. It's a mutual thing. My mother calls her elder sister who is 5 years older mummy. They are both above 80 years today. They are both comfortable with the relationship.

Bishop Oyedepo refers to Pastor Adeboye as his spiritual father and they've both had that relationship for decades. Infact by divine direction, Bishop was ordained into ministry in the early 80s by Pastor Adeboye

Adeboye and pride can never be in the same sentence.

Oyedepo has said many times how he used his 2 legs to go to Adeboye and ask him to be his spiritual father, despite Adeboye not even having anything to do wt his ministry (When oyedepo started his mentor was Idahosa & word of faith preacher Kenneth hagin). And this happened long after winners became big. He said God asked him to do go to Adeboye, and since dt time he started paying 10% of living faith (winners chapel) tithes to redeemed. And his increase became supernormal just for obeying dt instruction. Don’t speak on things u don’t know anything about. It’s more if a spiritual father son relationship than a physical age relationship.
