edakun what’s up between Pep Guardiola and Phil Foden? Generational talent that he is, he’s hardly had a look in since he returned to action and has always been on the bench.

Phil has not been feeling well so he is lacking in match fitness. The season is still long and Pep is slowly playing him into full fitness.

That said, I did not agree with the lineup yesterday but I've settled it in my heart that Pep has thought about all the factors over the season and has felt that this is the only way.
