We are still saying the same thing. Myself will not prostrate for an Igbo King even in his palace not because of arrogance but because it is not their culture. I will still show respect because of his office or age. If the igbo man understands Yoruba culture or lives in Yoruba land, I would.

People out of respect and reference called them all these names that they dont merit, Rabbi, Father, Instructor.

They dont merit it because their lifestyle doesn't merit it.

So, Jesus has just told you those who really merit these names without flaws. Christ and His Father.

That doesn't mean calling your Dad father is wrong.
Or Paul calling Timothy my son is wrong.
Or Oyedepo calling Adeboye Father is wrong.

But because of human imperfection no Father on earth is Father enough as God.

Or haven't you heard of fathers killing their children for rituals? Are they really fathers?
Or fathers raping their daughters? Are they really fathers?

The Only Father who really is a Father is God.

Wisdom is what it is called.

So in short obey follow Paul and not Jesus!
