Is it the same US dollar I changed yesterday that you said it's down to 1,586 or are you talking about Canadian dollar? Propaganda on tabloid can no longer fly, this is not 1970.

Why is nnpc importing aviation fuel when dangote is exporting aviation fuel and has enough to sell to Nigerian airlines. What is it with fuel importation and nnpc that they don't want to stop . Must Nigeria import fuel. Do we make money from fuel imports. This is just getting so disgusting everyday. Even al the fuel nnpc bought from dangote, they refused to distribute it. Did they buy it to throw it away. There is virtually no fuel in any nnpc fuel station in the whole of port Harcourt. What kind of nonsense game is nnpc playing. Isn't it time for tinubu to sack mele kyari. What's that inexperienced man still doing at the helm of affairs at nnpc. Tinubu better get serious with governance and stop all these needless excuses Darlingjay1: |

This nnpc and dangote issue shows that tinubu is not taking Nigerian well been serious. This politicians are not ready to develop Nigeria, why are they bent on importing fuel? Well, let's hope there will be reduction of petrol price this October as been speculated. |

They would say anything just to justify their filthy business of importing low quality products despite having one of the most advanced refineries producing this products in Nigeria. This is a country that is already inflicted by inflation and devalaution of her currency. A country that should be more concerned about cutting down importation and wastage of scarce Forex by any means possible. On the contrary, they are still bringing in foreign products just to further Kill our Naira and make illegal profits off the citizens. |

So its the term landing cost they want to use to deceive Nigerians now? landing cost of petrol, includes the product’s international price, shipping, insurance, and other charges..so are we still importing fuel to say we will pay for shipping? NNPC is just cashing out and time will tell! |
| Re: Petrol Landing Cost Drops Amid Naira Appreciation by wwwkaycom(m): 8:11am On Oct 01, 2024 |
Despite the Dangote Refinery commencing operations and selling fuel within the country, we are still hearing about "landing costs". How long will it take to free our country from the grip of these corrupt individuals? The persistent manipulation of fuel prices, even with local refining capacity increasing, highlights the deep-seated corruption in Nigeria’s petroleum sector. This is a deliberate exploitation of the system by a cartel of powerful interests who profit at the expense of ordinary citizens. The concept of "landing cost" — initially relevant for imported fuel — should no longer hold weight when fuel is being refined domestically. Yet, these thieves continue to maintain their stranglehold on the economy, ensuring that Nigerians do not benefit from the resources of their own land. Liberating the country from these corrupt practices requires more than just improved infrastructure; it demands transparency, accountability, and the dismantling of the entrenched networks of greed. True progress will only come when both the government and the people actively resist the influence of these opportunists who prioritize personal gain over national welfare. |
