Here was the notice they earlier released about routine maintenance:

Notice of Routine IT MAINTENANCE

Please be informed that we are currently undertaking a routine maintenance of our Information Technology Infrastructure, to enable us significantly improve the quality of service rendered to you.

On Tuesday, October 01, 2024, our Mobile Banking App, USSD Service, Internet Banking and Corporate Internet Banking platforms will be unavailable between the hours of 12:01am and 02:30pm WAT.

We solicit your understanding and offer our assurances that measures are in place to minimize any service interruptions during the exercise.

They sent this about 2 weeks ago saying the maintenance would be October 1st.
But i have been unable to use the App since Monday morning.

More like a general issue across most banks and even the digital ones including Moniepoint

At least there was a prior notice to customers, unlike some banks that just decide to go mad anytime they choose

I use Opay for my everyday transactions. Fast and reliable. Traditional banks are something else, especially on weekends.

Zenith really dealt with me those days, but who the Lord has freed is free indeed

Scheduling a maintenance on a public holiday during the day 12am-11am is all shades of wrong.
If that wasn’t enough, the so called maintenance was postponed till 2:30pm, now it’s 4:50pm and we still can’t access our funds..
What kind of mediocre service is this!!!!!

I have been unable to withraw money or transfer money to my clients since the early hours of today.
Thank God for my pos customer who gave me 50k on trust for me to be able to transact with pending when the network will be back so that i rrturn tge money. Otherwise na so today for take wasted without achieving anything. Thank God shaa..

I think Nigerian banks are now suffering from the mass exodus of tech professionals... Many have japa'd, others are waiting to japa!

Most tech guys are no longer working for Naija organisations where they pay 500k thinking it's big money, expecting you to work Monday through Saturday.
