The president should be vacationing in his own country not going to the UK. Bad precedence. |

slaawomirr:You are an idiot if you think tribalism is Nigeria's problem. The majority of Tinubu's support, 67%, was from the North. OBJ didn't win in the SW. Nigeria's problem is cultural. Not one single state across Nigeria is developed despite the arable land and human resources available to build a sustainable economy. Nigeria's problem is cultural. We have a feudal cultural value system that seeks feudal leadership like Tinubu, Buhari, Peter Obi, and GEJ instead of democratic institutions. The South East has a literacy rate of 85%, no natural disasters, and is blessed with rivers, green land, oil, and gas. Yet the region can barely generate more than $1 billion worth of exports. The same can be said of the SW and SS. Our forefather sold their people as slaves for 400 years until the British decided to colonise the country; Nigeria's values and culture have failed to evolve to respect good leadership or democracy. Instead, we are looking for the next messiah. Tinubu is the symptom of Nigeria culture, impunity. |

CyrusVI:It is not about working round any clock or watch, it is about results and performance. Enough of storytelling and drama. Nigerian wants results |

Before he became President, Asiwaju was known for his visits to Europe (France & UK especially) for the holidays (whether medical holidays or rest holidays) hence I'm not surprised at his choice of the UK for his annual leave. However, what is shocking is that at a time not less than 80% of the population are reeling from the effects of his administrations hasty, poorly planned & executed policies, PBAT wants to go on a "vacay" to the UK; while he's in the UK (a country where majority of the political class are answerable to the people, not looters of the commonwealth of the people, not living ostentatiously while the people beg for crumbs etc) enjoying himself on taxpayers' account, many more Nigerians will be plunged into economic hardships because the political class under PBAT's leadership have become too greedy, corrupt, selfish & unbothered to care about what the people are going through. |
