hedonido:The fact that irritants like you now roam around the forum attacking just anyone for their opinion without getting banned by the Obidient moderators says a lot about how low the forum has sunk into. |

SmartyPants:the problem is Tinubu brought in tribal politics into it, imagine anybody who criticizes Tinubu or APC is called Igbo, blackmailed and insulted, this thing has been going on since even lead to attacking Igbos on election day in Lagos ... Tinubu dragged the Yoruba tribe into his politics and that is where I expected Yorubas to have warned him not to but you people left him and even most of your Obas supported him to go ahead... There is no how the negative effect may not rub off on all Yorubas... |

helinues:Hahahaha... Go on X and you will find yourself only coming to Nairaland for 30 minutes once a week. ![]() Infact, Yoruba Obidients are joining yoruba conservatives in large numbers and helping to push back on Yoruba hate from Ibos. One of them below 👇

Brendaniel:Nigga, you’re talking absolute nonsense. Igbos have been attacking Yoruba political interest since the pre-colonial era. Azikiwe did everything possible to ensure Awolowo never became Prime Minister or President. Igbos voted massively against MKO in 1993. In fact, they voted for a guy who lost his home state to MKO. Thereafter, they led the movement for the annulment of the election. Arthur Nzeribe went to court on behalf of ABN to get a kangaroo court order to stop the announcement of the result. Igbos youths led by Godwin Kanu then organized the Youth Earnestly Asked for Abacha group to drum support for Abacha to become life president while MKO was in detention. So, stop accusing Tinubu of dragging Yoruba into his politics. Politics in Nigeria has always been mixed with tribalism and Igbos are the worst especially when there is Yoruba interest to be attacked. Finally, Peter Obi is currently the worst tribalist of this era. He’s the one who came out solely as an Igbo and Christian candidate. He campaigned only in churches and Igbo dominated market. He messed up Igbos chances of ever becoming president anytime soon. If you all know what’s good for you, you will lead a revolution to get Peter Obi expelled from Igbo land and Nigeria. |

helinues:You are missing alot. I am sure you missed how princess Banke Oniru exposed some Obidient influencers like Akintollgate and Serah Ibrahim for chopping end sars 100 million naira largesse and Obidients are now suing themselves and sending court letters to each other, or how many Yoruba Obidients have now become ronu ![]() Or that of Moghalu scoring an own goal yesterday calling for peace, but people quickly dug out his old post where he tried to cause division amongst Yoruba during the election and that of his tribalist wife. If we create the topics here, the mods will move it to some section to hide it, so why do we even border. Men are moving on to twitter and leaving the echo chamber Nairaland for Seun and his mods. Thanking God for twitter. Nairaland is extremely boring. Even me wey just join twitter don dey get good impressions, and already have close to a thousand followers Lol.

ALTERNATEID:And we can all see the result of the tribalism of the Igbos you accuse. 1. Igbos have never told any tribe in Nigeria they won't rule Nigeria only Yorubas have said such. 2. Igbos have never attacked any other tribe in their region telling them not to vote, only Yorubas have done that. 3. Igbos have never told any other tribe to leave their region because of politics or election, only Yorubas have done that... 4. Igbos are the only tribe in Nigeria that have voted over 90% support to a northern candidate, Yoruba candidate and South South candididate even their tribe was not even vice to these candidates even when they had Igbo men like Ojukwu running for the same presidency , Yorubas have never done that not to talk doing it for an Igbo man. 5. Igbos are the major tribe in Nigeria that live in oery part of Nigeria, learn the language of the land and contribute their own quota to the development of the land... It looks like tribalism means something else to you guys... |

Brendaniel:You have been lying through your teeth since this thread started despite initially lying that you don't want to say anything. The problem with Ibos like you is that you are like the ostrich. Because your head is so deep in the ground, you think your body is hidden. You fail to see what other tribes see about you which is your obnoxious ignorant arrogance and empty chest beating. Ask yourself why Ibos are the only tribe abhored by every other tribe? It is your inherent determination to dominate and subjugate every other tribe around you and your land grabbing attitude. You are visitors in almost everywhere in Nigeria because your states are inhabitable yet you can't have the simplest courtesy of respecting the culture and beliefs of the sons of the soil. Seriously you guys really need to examine your attitude towards others and bury your tribalism and bigotry. |

Goosethetruth:It is mostly south west and a little part of the north that has this perception about Igbos, infact if you hate Igbos that is the perception you will have... The question I ask you is why are you not abhoring the same thing about the Fulanis who have done 1000 times worse of what ever you accuse Igbos of in your land? |
| Re: Has Twitter Replaced Nairaland In Tribalism? by Goosethetruth(m): 7:57am On Oct 03, 2024 |
Brendaniel:Maybe you would like to explain why the Ikwerre can't stand you Ibos despite having a common language? Because you have started lying that is only the North and South West that abhor you. You need to understand that no tribe in Nigeria can stand your lies, propaganda and tribalist domineering nature, they only try to tolerate you. |
| Re: Has Twitter Replaced Nairaland In Tribalism? by Zooposki(f): 8:00am On Oct 03, 2024 |
Brendaniel:Oga, it should be clear to you that they like the Fulanis and not you. How many times will they tell you? Fight your battles and leave the Fulanis alone. |

Goosethetruth:On twitter, the Bini are fighting the ibos The Ikwerre are fighting the ibos The Urhobos are fighting the ibos The Yorubas are fighting the ibos The Ikas in Anioma are fighting the ibos E.t.c Common denominator is the ibos. Just yesterday, spaces were opened on X by Edo people to discuss how the ibos were trying to cause division between the Bini and their Esan brothers in Edo State. |

Goosethetruth:It is because of the dirty politics you people have been playing, I mean look at Wike today, is he not Tinubu's right hand man enjoying all benefits of free corruption? Same thing Amaechi did till you people showed him the dirty side of your politics... We know what is going on, it is all politics to benefit them against the injustice towards the Igbos... |
| Re: Has Twitter Replaced Nairaland In Tribalism? by Brendaniel: 8:10am On Oct 03, 2024 |
Goodvibes007:Yes, we channel our grievance to the people that caused it, but not you people... Did you see them blaming any other tribe there like you people do to the Igbos? Have the Igbos done 1/1000 of what the Fulanis have done to you people? Why the hate? |
| Re: Has Twitter Replaced Nairaland In Tribalism? by softtorce: 8:11am On Oct 03, 2024 |
Isn't it ironic seeing an Igbo talk about hate ,😂. Same you nurtured from birth with irredeemable hate n chronic bigotry. 9japride: |

| Re: Has Twitter Replaced Nairaland In Tribalism? by Zooposki(f): 8:12am On Oct 03, 2024 |
Brendaniel:There is a difference between not liking someone and hatred. I don’t like a lot of people. Does not mean I hate them. I simply don’t want anything to do with them, but sometimes if they really need my help, my empathy will come into play and I will do what I can to help. I simply don’t want to be in daily contact with them, don’t want them involved in my affairs etc. etc. Do you like all your family members, colleagues etc? |

softtorce:it's like You've been living in Mars. OBJ alone improved the economy on what he met, cleared about 38 billion dollars of Nigeria's debt and save over 70 billion on total from crude oil sales alone, even inflation rate fell in his first year... You people throw insult when you have no defense... Stats are there...
