Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has warned Nigerians against migrating to countries worse than Nigeria.

In a video shared on social media, Ms Dabiri-Erewa appealed to Nigerian influencers and bloggers to help the Federal Government to warn Nigerians against fleeing to “worse” countries.

“Please, we appeal to bloggers and influencers. Help us appeal to Nigerians that where you are running to is worse than where you are running from (Nigeria),” Dabiri-Erewa said.

While reacting to the recent viral video of some Nigerians calling for help in a Malian prison calling for help, Dabiri-Erewa said some girls in the viral video returned to Mali after the Nigerian government evacuated them.

“I want to address a viral video of some girls shouting from a prison in Mali, asking to be returned home. Some time ago, the chief of defence staff helped us bring back some girls,” the NiDCOM chief explained. “We have identified some of these girls are some of those brought back that time. That they found themselves back in Mali is shocking.”

She added, “We want to appeal. We need to obey the laws of other countries. Crime and criminality, irregularities migration, is very deadly now. As much as the mission in Mali is working to see if they can bring people back.”

If we check their states of origin, it's likely going to be Imo state. I don't know what's wrong with them and their parents. This girls could easily become victims of ritualists in that Islamic country called Mali.

Which country is Nigeria better than Now? Ethiopian embassy just stopped giving visa to Nigeria , both e-visa and paper visa. Our passport is visa free to 25 countries from 59 it used to be.

Nigerians will abuse and curse Nigeria (which to me is a form of betrayal) then "abandoned" the country to it's fate by running to another country for greener pastures "to save themselves only" but when they get into problems ,they will want the Nigeria they've caused to incapability to rescue them .
