If the power was vested on Rivers electoral commission under the supervision of the gov, I see know reason why court will stop it even with opposition petitions

That is the point. I think is goal is not second term, is to be incharge of his tenure as a governor without interference since he will give account of his everything that happen in his tenure. You're talking about a man whose tribe has 12 LGA in Rivers State. WIKE knows that if FUBARA holds this Local Government elections, is over for him. That's why he is fighting to ensure the election will not hold.

Plus the men that are backing FUBARA up.
E.g the present SSG alone is a strong politician who nominates LG A chairmen and HOA member from Kalabari as a whole. Go and checked his history very well. Peter Odili is he a paper-weight politician too?

The word ingrate has become abused. If the October 30th 2023 impeachment had pulled through would you have called Fubara an ingrate? He was not a politician. He was not seen in the corridors of power lobbying for political positions or some sort of. Governorship came to him. And because it came to him doesn't mean he will have to die in it. Besides Wike did it for his interest. He had promised Felix Obuha. why did he not give him? He had Tammy Danagogo, why did he not give him? and the other heavy weights, What happened to them? If most of us were in Fubara's shoes, we would have done worse than him.

As much as we advocate for loyalty it should not turn into slavery. Fubara is not a saint, wike is neither. Since neither party has come forward to tell the reason for the fight in black and white, I will stand with Fubara for the progress of our dear state. Wike has ruled and we all loved him but he will never be our governor again. Besides empowering certain individuals, for whatever reason, which is a good thing. he doesn't have the green pen to make our state move forward. So We should with him, support him for the progress of our state.
