I hardly eat out. But few days ago, I bought a plate of Garri with Egusi Soup in Kaduna for 700 naira. Which I created a thread for. Someone amongst those that comment on the post asked me how much will a plate of Rice and Beans cost in the same Restaurant.

Here is a plate of Rice and Beans with one meat and a sachet of water and it goes for 700 naira.

Nigeria.... sometimes I have to remind myself that I'm not dreaming. It's a shame what our beloved country is turning out into. When I left the country just after high school, the highest denomination currency wise was N50. If you had N700 then at my age, you were the man for the day........smh But I'm optimistic, we'll rise again a country with such beautiful and talented people.

This is the situation we find ourselves in this Country. As I am typing this, some person's in this Country don't have anything they intend to eat today. They are just looking up to God.

Ate for 600 in Jos this morning , Quantity was more than this

Ugghh!
That food was about #150 around January 2023 in Mando in the same Kaduna state.
I know because I was there for over 2 weeks and I ate out throughout my stay there
