aalangel:Landmark has no beach. The water front and the coastline belong to Government. Landmark bought land (not beach) from the Oniru Family. |

Realtruth2023:No parts of Landmark was demolished. They had time to remove their tents at the coastline and water front, which belong to the Government. |

MadPolitician:I like how 2 Lagos boys coordinating and one former governor of Lagos state surrendered FG property to the then Lagos state governor. Only in Asiwju's Lagos State. Btw, stop crying, the FG get property in your state just lobby your leaders to request handover, even if it's FG toilet.

MadPolitician:Stupid talk. Those facilities were all in a terrible state of disarray. When last was a football game held at the so-called Antional stadium?? You would rather watch them decay than hand them over to those who would maintain them out of silly jealousy. What does handing over the national stadium to Lagos do for Lagos?? Is it not already situated there? Imagine the idea that other states should be consulted...as in, it should be handed over to Kano or Abia abi? |

goslowgoslow:What concerns VIO and streetlights on highways? Highways are state roads and are the responsibility of the state government to install lights on them. During Ambode and Fashola regime, many highways had lighting. Same can’t be said about the current regime. |

SmartyPants:Stretching your nebulous logic a little further, the federal government should hand all the refineries, rolling mills, fettilizer complexes, the sea ports and the oil wells to states where those are located? Since federal assets in Lagos can now easily be hyjacked by Lagos state using her ubiquitous presence in the APC? Lol The problem with some of you agbadorians, is that you guys think you are too smart. National assets dashed away to one state, and you are here talking of Lagos ability to maintain them. What and what has your Lagos been able to maintian more than the federal government or other states? Her Dilapidated achools and squalid neighbourhoods? Dey play |

MadPolitician:And what do you know of logic in the first place? If said refineries and so on are in a state of disuse and do not provide revenue to the federal government, and if the States where they are located can maintain them then yes that is the best thing to do. But it takes a special kind of silly mind to compare a dead asset like a stadium that produces no revenue to seaport and refineries. Is there not a seaport in Lagos? Has it been handed over to the State? Anyway I think most Nigerians are used to these ridiculous arguments by now so continue jare. |
| Re: Sanwo-Olu Signs MOU With FG, Inspects Landmark Centre. by MadPolitician: 6:30am On Oct 04, 2024 |
SmartyPants:"Dead assets" should be privatised through a well organised privatisation process sanctioned by the national assembly. The constitution must recognise the process. That is not the case here. These multi billion naira edifices, were give to Lagos state for free. They are not supposed to be handed over to an APC state by a federal government led by an APC president! That is what we call "conflict of interest". It is corruption, but how would you know, if you are a member of a party that has more or else normalised corruption in the country? I wasn't arguing with anyone. I stated a very clear point. Federal assets must go through clear processes known to the constitution, before being handed over to anyone. These are not properties built or bought by Lagos state. They were built by the federal government as federal assets! You wouldn't see my point because somehow, the illegality going on at the moment favours you and your principals. But if tomorrow, a president not from the APC comes on, and starts handing all sorts of federal government built assets to say Gwari people in Abuja, I'm sure the notorious Lagos ibadan expressway media houses will be up in arms as usual. |

MadPolitician:So the assets where handed over to Yoruba people not Lagos State which is a federating unit where all Nigerians live, work and have equal access to said assets? Okay sir. Good one. |
| Re: Sanwo-Olu Signs MOU With FG, Inspects Landmark Centre. by MadPolitician: 6:46am On Oct 04, 2024 |
SmartyPants:Just went through my post again. I can't see where i mentioned "yoruba people". Can we stay politically correct by just saying "Lagos state"? Looks like you're playing the tribal card while accusing others of tribalism |

MadPolitician:Being clever by quarters! Did you not use the example of handing over FCT assets to Gwari people? Was that not a false equivalence?? Lol. I say, good one sir. |
| Re: Sanwo-Olu Signs MOU With FG, Inspects Landmark Centre. by Jonjam269: 6:55am On Oct 04, 2024 |
miracleedwards:I stated this on this platform that no landmark building was demolished, I was there to confirm, but some people from sit at home region who likes to term any projects initiated in South West as anti Igbos in order to paint Yorubas as bad people and score cheap political points. They blown this issue out of proportion and use its as content on all social media platforms as usual. |

Dadadididacontr:lol. I use a total of 310W LED headlamps. I don’t use high beams because of other motorists and my dim lights are bright enough for most parts. Even with the brightest lights, street lights are very much needed. Your headlamps have range. |

afube:you ipob minions just lack sense, so when he was purchasing the land, he purchased the beach front too? Even the owner of landmark himself didn’t complain because he knew where is land ended but ignorant mofo like you, will come online and spread your halfbaked propaganda. After all it is not by force to invest in Lagos, you can take your investment back to you ipob infested cannibalistic region ![]() |

MadPolitician:Akwa Ibom was created yesterday by Abacha, yet it is more developed than the whole of South East. Why not channel your frustration to your docile leaders that you have been electing since 1960? Lagos state is not responsible for the backwardness of your stare |

MadPolitician:During the construction of the Lekki Ikoyi bridge, 2 FG properties stood in the way and after pleading by Fashola, President Yaradua gave the go-ahead to destroy the FG government properties. Fashola also begged GEJ to use the NRC rail line during the initial stages of the Lagos State Metro Line, GEJ said No simply because of opposition politics, but the next President gave his blessing, and now we have the Red Line to serve millions of Nigerians. The president/the executive is free to use his or her discretion via executive order to effect changes and transfer of FG properties. The transfer was done in the open in front of Nigerians, the House, and the Senate, so why didn't they object? Keep up with civic education. |
