During the construction of the Lekki Ikoyi bridge, 2 FG properties stood in the way and after pleading by Fashola, President Yaradua gave the go-ahead to destroy the FG government properties.

Fashola also begged GEJ to use the NRC rail line during the initial stages of the Lagos State Metro Line, GEJ said No simply because of opposition politics, but the next President gave his blessing, and now we have the Red Line to serve millions of Nigerians.

The president/the executive is free to use his or her discretion via executive order to effect changes and transfer of FG properties.

The transfer was done in the open in front of Nigerians, the House, and the Senate, so why didn't they object?

Keep up with civic education.
New one!
According to the agbadorian professor of "Make it up as you go" here, a president can wake up and hand over national assets to say Clifford Orji, if he feels that that is in the national interest! Very interesting civic education right there.

Why was Obasanjo wasting massive resources with his privatisation programme then? He could have easily handed the Portharcourt refinery to Dangote, the failed banks to Otedola and NITEL to Adenuga! Who doesn't know that these three would have run those better??

And he should have done that with just an executive order!! And ofcourse, with no recourse to the constitution or National Assembly!!! Is that not wonderful? I bet not even your village meeting has been run with such agbadorian alacrity!!!

Our "Come and chop" government and their internet hirelings will never kill me and you with their patented brand of convulated bulaba logic.

There's a difference between privatization and discretion in handing over FG properties to the host states, states are not private entities or for-profit organizations.

Again, keep up with civic education.

What concerns VIO and streetlights on highways? Highways are state roads and are the responsibility of the state government to install lights on them. During Ambode and Fashola regime, many highways had lighting. Same can’t be said about the current regime.
So you don't even know the content of your own comment?
Did you not mention that there are so many trucks moving at night without rear lights?
SMH..!

I know what I wrote. You should ask for explanations if you don’t understand. Or couldn’t comprehend.

What I meant by “Trucks without rear lights or reflectors” isn’t blaming the state government for those. I imply the more reasons we need street lights is so we can see these vehicles that do not have taillights or reflectors early enough so we don’t run into them. With street lights, the range of visibility for vehicles at night is much better and improved than the vehicle relying solely on its headlights that have limited range.

I did not blame the state government for vehicles without lights.

I expect this your explanation.

Street lights or not are trucks without rear lights supposed to be on our roads if VIO is doing their job?

Trucks or no trucks our street lights are also supposed to be fixed.

Konquest:
Demolitions of the outer structures or beachfront took place there because they had encroached on the right of way of Federal land that is currently being used for constructing the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, but the main structures of that leisure business were untouched by any demolitions.

The Federal or state governments can lawfully acquire land on already built up areas for all purposes and for the good of all after due compensations to those who VALIDLY have genuine land documents.

If you are talking of a multimillion USD investment that was completely demolished, then that's Tunji Ariyo's Mami Chulo Resort in the video right BELOW that was demolished for the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway because it stood in the right of way.

Landmark Beach as well as Mami Chulo beach and many other Beaches were destroyed. Infact, Mami Chulo was destroyed before Landmark. Watch my report. I don't talk on the periphery.

What we are trying to explain to you is beaches, seafront, oceanlines or any other words you want to use for it belong to government. So in actual sense there was nothing like Landmark Beach. I hope you get it now?
