Everybody needs to calm down. This election is already a nullity even if it is held. Lets avoid loss of life and properties. The elders in Rivers should intervain politically and lets have peace. Definitely Fubara may not be able to fight the judiciary. At the end of the day, the bone of contention is the Local government allocation and i believe this think can still be discussed. The only solution to a war is discussion.

I hope you're aware that there is a superior judgement, not even an order from supreme court that all states with no elected local government council officials should do so within three months of their judgement. With that judgement alone all lower courts should have taken dressing from it but judiciary rascality is making some judges behaving like touts.

My brother, no body and I repeat, no body win an election on his own all over the world. Some people somewhere must help you to win the election because you cannot be everywhere at the same time. You cannot even finance your Election alone anywhere in the world. Everybody that attain any position of leadership through ballots are been helped by someone or some people. Even Tinubu cannot say he wasn't helped by someone or people or no one sponsored him. That some godfathers are lousy and making public show of their help render, doesn't mean others doesn't been helped by someone. The greedy godfathers are the one making public show of everything.

What you quoted is belated. The president has no constitutional powers to remove an elected governor or alter constituted authority that are elected by the people.
OBJ did that mistake when the people's eyes were dimming. That singular act has been tested in the law court till supreme court and the supreme court had declared that the president has no authority within our constitution to remove an elected governor because he declare state of emergency.

If the court had ordered him to stop the election that is apart but as at today no court in the land says election should not hold, they only say INEC should not give voters' register and police should not give security coverage for the election. Thankfully, there is no law that says compulsorily police must provide security coverage for an election in Nigeria, as there are many security agencies that can provide security coverage in Nigeria, even man-o-war and vigilante can provide security too.

Easier said but we know the kind of mentality those currently in power have their self preservation is the number one priority than obeying any nigerian law don't be surprised tomorrow to see the nigerian police arresting risec officials for trying to conduct the election.

Abi no be this country u dey when a federal high court said they had not defected.
My brother it's a long game that will be won in the courts. If PMB was president he won't interfere but PBAT will. I can guarantee you that.
Plus hope u know that Fubara is still governor today cos PBAT intervened when the crisis started, if not the assembly would have impeached him long ago and heaven will not fall.
