Travel population has reduced due to the high cost of fare as a result of fuel price hike, insecurity, general economic hardship The more people travel, the higher the population that will be kidnapped. You need to look at that angle as well. Also, a reasonable percentage of kidnap cases are not reported in Nigeria, mind you.

Good one , it's been a long while that I heard of Kidnapping on major high ways like Benin/Ore , Abuja/Kaduna and unknown gun men menance.

This man is talking rubbish. I am on the road now travelling from Lagos to Abuja. The roads are not safe at all. There was attempted attack on the bus I entered. Heavy stone throw from the Bush that broke the wind screen of the bus. If the driver had stopped, all of us could have been kidnapped or robbed. There are other travellers that narrated the same experience on this same route. Nigeria is in a state of emergency.

I really don't understand what is happening in this country, Nigeria. APC started to rule this country since 2015 and up till this moment, the situation of things in the country has not changed, rather going worst by the day. And even, what baffles me the more is that this present government of President Tinubu is blaming the woes of this country to the last administration of Buhari.
Recall that Buhari is APC and APC is Buhari, so how can this present government blame Buhari alone for the issues in our country, when, they were together in APC and have been piloting the affairs of this country.
What this implies is that, if APC wins in 2027, they would still blame President Tinubu, instead of solving the issues at hand.
Nigerians voted for APC, because they believe that Nigeria would be better in apc's administration, but what is offing is blame upon blame.
It's time we took the bull by the horn and solve these issues challenging us.
