Until we protest and rise against Britain and their selfish interest in Nigeria as a country, we will never make it as a country....

I just pray the gen-z wil carry this task we and our past generations fail to do!

Obasanjo, Yar Adua and Jonathan never vacationed anywhere abroad during the 16 years of PDP rule.

When we say that the APC has destroyed Nigeria, we are only putting things mildly.

Rubbish talk.
Talk is Cheap but come home and implement all those ideas here back home in Nigeria, then you will know,if Ethnicity, Tribalism and Religion biases, especially of the North and other Regions, will not Consume your beautiful Idea e.g. in the 8- yrs of Buhari govt,we Nigerians, saw how Files were taking to London by his Chief Of Staff( late Kyari) for Signature- to be signed - while Buhari was on hospitalisation and his Vice Osinbajo was looking helpless.
The same Buhari and their Agents were asking Christians to come and Registers their Churches, with Muslims induced -in Charge of the Organisation!
Is that not a catalyst for dissaster?
•Where was Farook and the most biased Members on this Social Media then, who are now talking?
Make Una park,as so many things, including the Foundations of this Country have been traded with ,by Past Military leaders- who do claimed they were defending Nigeria Interest, but we have all seen it today,it was just for their Pockets e.g Babangida Annulled June 12,1993- thereby ruined the Progress of Nigeria and their Political acolytes- past and present, are now busy ,as Agents of Distabilization, who are trying to lecture us on the roads Nigeria should take.
Nonsensical People are everywhere!

Much ado about nothing.

FYI, I abhor his policies and governance style not least because of the pain it is causing Nigerians, but criticizing his vacation choices does not cut it.

Like any other citizen, he is free is go on leave to any place of choice. Tbh I don't see the issue here lipsrsealed

Farooq schooled and lives in the USA. As a Muslim, he adheres to a 'foreign' religion. What moral right does he have to question another person's choices on where to vacation?

Can anyone say OBJ, Yaradua and GEJ never visited, holidayed or did business in UK, USA, Canada or anywhere else abroad? We should focus on things that matter, not distractions.

We should ask why Tinubu is yet to reshuffle his dull and largely ineffective cabinet. Why is it taking forever for decisions made to translate to reality? Like the Executive Orders on faster and more efficient contracting processes, like the incentives to importers of short term food, phamaceutical manufacturing input etc??

hmmm let him stay in his London jeje before he budget $100million again for Camp Emilokan ...Truth is we all know Uncle Bola is going to do a follow up on his health, but beyond that even if he chooses to spend his vacation in Nigeria, does it stop people coming from far and near to stop visiting him, vacation will end up turning to something else. Many Nigerian are in Britain working are they also guilty of being dependent, what is important is for Mr President to go and reflect as he chooses and do the needful, because at the end of the day it is his Legacy at stake not mine. No amount of money can paint a good Legacy .
Re: Tinubu Dramatizes Hollowness Of Nigeria’s “Independence” By Farooq A. Kperogi by chatinent: 8:42am On Oct 05, 2024
Nigeria is always fortunate with unfortunate leaders who are solely interested in adding the title of the president to their name.

Bola Tinubu Ahmed, whatsoever his name is, has no progressive blueprints for Nigeria. It's gonna be failure and propaganda press releases until they remove him and force Shettima, the loud jakass who is now doing like a quiet tortoise, on Nigeria.

The only truth you need to know is that inasmuch as they keep travelling abroad for medical treatments, and ex leaders permanently living abroad, they will continue to milk the country so dry until the aerolas of green fades, and her nipples bleed.

You are politically (historically) ignorant. Other than poor, purposeless African countries; do the leaders of Japan, Korea, USA, UK, Canada, China, Israel etc travel about for vacation? The president is a people's greatest expression of self-pride; His adventurous journeys probably means (as Kperogi notes) that tourism is failing. If Tinubu likes something in the UK, he can come build in Nigeria. Until their defeat by the British, the Oba of Benin never leaves Benin; it was his STRONGHOLD!

The problem with Africa and Africans is that colonialism and Slavery/Repression, and the subsequent cutting up of the continent without regards to the different tribes drained us of AMBITION. We can't imagine great things, we are just there in the world. Last in everything and on every metric and parameter. Poverty everywhere!

Is it not his right as a citizen to choose where to go for leave?
How can you understand, when you are blinded with rabid hatred of hearing, not to talk of admitting the truth.

With due respect, if you are not yet 50 or above; why passing the torch? There is still something you can do. It might mean you need to find like minds, or join a group. Just imagine that Nigeria now is Singapore before Lee Kwan Yew; and you are the Lee Kwan Yew. I'll advise that you find Edmund Obilo on SM; he's a leading voice for true change in Nigeria. He's actually broadcasting now.

No bro, Leadership determines the path of a people, not the people. LEADERSHIP IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN LIFE. Okay, do you know that the Benin people built the longest man-made wall, and that they have been casting bronze and iron of the finest sort, but look at Benin people today? Are the ancestors more intelligent than their children? The Ijebus also built the Sungbo Moat (massive structure), are their descendants now dumber? Nigerian leadership is stifling the intelligence of the Nigerian people; Osimhen was a pure water hawker in Nigeria, but he's a productive, wealthy football player in Turkey today.
