PDP is governor of akwa ibom state.

It's simply because Akpabio senate president who is in APC and is senate president and from same Akwa ibom. Is not doing do or die politics, like Wike is doing.

Rivers election is hot because if the current governor gains ground by installing LGA chairmen, it will make Wike irrelevant in the state and his political ambition will die. Likewise president Tinubu second tenure of buying votes in Rivers will crumble as well. For Wike to continue to be relevant, he has to fight with all his got so as to remain relevant.

Today, Wike will be retired politically in Rivers State and his much taunted structure completely eroded by APP. I thought he was a smart politician, but alas he is not. Once you have a Governor in a State, he is the political leader of that state except places where the people are enslaved to a god father. But Niger Delta Governors have so much resources at their disposal to be capable of being subjugated to one god father. Wike, that you helped Fubara become Governor is not abnormal, all the Governors have someone who helped install them qs Governor, but Wike is too overbearing and his over bearing nature on Fubara has come to an irritating level to the ordinary people in Rivers State and they want to end it now. After all, Wike was Governor and nobody dared to control him

Yes, the noise is coming from someone after drinking a 100 years old Whisky, got drunk and lost his senses.

I wonder why Sim is so weak that he allowed the drunk to cause trouble in the state all the time.
I expect him to be ruthless. Demolish Wike's houses, guests houses and hotels....all his businesses. This is same tactics that Wike used and dealt with his political enemies then.

Recall how he demolished hotels that belonged to Atiku supporters. He demolished 2 other hotels in Eleme during the Covid lock down....those were his political enemies businesses.

Sim, be ruthless or be uprooted.

Fubara and his loyalists should start now to steam the ground ahead of what the Rivers REC is about to cook in 2027. He is already denying the updated Voters Register is with RSIEC but forgot they were in a meeting with stakeholders between March and October 2023 where the soft copy was handed over to the agencies and political parties.

The State REC appointment was influenced by Wike and would be a stumbling block just as it was with Wike cousin in Edo
