Fubara can give Tinubu all of Rivers votes if he can guarantee his own gubernatorial re election. Fubara can also give it to Atiku just to further dent Wike in PDP. Fubara can also give it to Obi if momentum favours him by then.


The point I was making is that Rivers is now one bulk vote from Fubara to the highest bidder.

I said I am not sure of Oyo, but then Anambra turnout for last election was 28% yet they gave more than half a million votes. That is one of the smallest turnout in an election.
Also Rivers state and Delta state has given 1m votes only once and that time, I believe Delta gave more votes than Rivers.

He has lost control of Rivers state completely.

1. Wike lost the governor's office
2. Wike lost the Rivers House of Assembly
3. Wike lost the LG
4. Wike lost the people
5. Wike lost the ex-governors and elders


The only thing Wike has right now is the Presidency and part of the courts which is not enough to derail any sitting governor since Tinubu himself knows this during his OBJ feud.

If Wike decides to hold onto Rivers LG allocation, it won't make any difference. Rivers state like Lagos is rich enough to fund her LGAs 10 times over. Secondly, those boys Fubara installed don't really need money.

Look at them - young nobodies that will just be grateful to even be considered part of the system. Their time will probably come during the next Rivers gubernatorial election where they will be expected to weaponize their offices and lay claim to succeeding Fubara.

If for example, Wike's Nwanosike decides to go against the guy in Ikwerre, he will be disgraced because that young man is unknown in politics. Nobody knows what he can or can't do.

Fear people with nothing to lose in politics and business.


Also, come 2027, it's very possible for Tinubu to want to be on Fubara's good side since Fubara has shown that he is in full control of Rivers. Wike's Rivers votes secured Tinubu his win this last election and Wike cannot guarantee 25% of it as things stand. Add to Tinubu's lost Northern votes, getting all the southern votes he can will be vital for Tinubu.


I really don't know what options Wike has left now.
