Winning LGA elections doesn't necessarily guarantee longevity as a governor. Some govs had their stooges installed as LGA officials but still lost reelection. It's still a part of the whole sum of other factors.

But for a state as rich as rivers state, having your boys control the lgas is very significant.

yes so. He was a clueless coward to do that. Now Sanwo-Olu is almost completing his 8 years in power without tangible development under his leadership. Lagosians missed Ambode no be small. It’s only Almighty God that can bring Ambode to complete his second term in Lagos state. Tinubu godfatherism is much effective in Lagos State.

Stomach infrastructure based structure is highly destructible but can also be so easily resurrected. Fubara should be aware of that disturbing fact. Its building block is loyalty and can change easily based on prospect of actualisation of personal interests.

Fubara need to be strategic in this onslaught as some roots may be difficult to kill entirely.
