It is to commendable for Pastor G O Enoch Adeboye to admit a fundamental biblical error he used to fiercely perpetuate and command straight up a payment 10% or ten percent of income aka tithe

This title lie certainly has run itself to death at Pastor G O Enoch Adeboye foot

A lie has speed but truth surely has endurance

I want to thank the following champions on this forum who crusaded against how inappropriate ecclesiastical tithing is enforced

how can the majority of Nigerians be woke when the vast majority of Nigerians remain handicapped — mentally— by religion courtesy of these scammers-in-the-lords?

Technically Adeboye lied about tithing, which means he may have lied about other things before

And the Bible did say "thou shall not lie", this means Adeboye does not have the spiritual authority to continue in his capacity, he has lied once, he could have lied a lot more, including drinking tea with God that he claimed and also seeing his mansion.

What's more bewildering are those who will still defend him, saying it takes a lot to come clean, neglecting he lied just for his own selfish interest and gains.


This brings us to the conclusion that, many Nigerian pastors are scammers, including the subject topic

They may not pay what is called tithe but they do pay offerings, vows, etc., right? Those are forms of support that those businesses use to keep themselves in the lives of the people. Just imagine how many churches would exist in anywhere Nigeria if Nigerians stopped funding them? Imagine how less religiously brainwashed most would be if they spent more time away from those places listening to sermons that are designed to placate them and at the same time shackle them to those seats?

Time did not open my eyes! I literally caused my brain to crash from questioning it all. It was only after then that my mind was rescued from all of the bullsheet of mostly Nigeria and religion.

But I personally feel it's extremely stupid to pay tithes to a multi billionaire Pastor.

Even if you have taken care of your nuclear & extended families ( most of them care less about their blood than pastor) it's still stupid to dash out money to a Pastor far richer than you.

I give a lot of charity but I give directly to the poor and needy.

Those who were insulting Daddy Freeze should have the courage to admit he was right after all if Enoch Adeboye can admit his wrong statement on tithing.
