Winning LGA elections doesn't necessarily guarantee longevity as a governor. Some govs had their stooges installed as LGA officials but still lost reelection. It's still a part of the whole sum of other factors.

Do you understand what it means for 95% of assembly members to go with the Godfather? All commissioners are with the Godfather? Chief of staff, special advisers , special assistants etc were with wike. The dude had none standing with him but because he was Rivers state Governor, he had the means to create his own loyalty with Rivers money he went ahead and accomplished it.

Ambode was loved by the people of Lagos state, he was the Governor and have access to Lagos state money to do same by decamping and creating a niche for himself but no he went ahead begging Tinubu for 100 years.

There's a big difference between both scenarios. Fubara has the backing of many relevant Rivers people and they stood by him. Remember, he was very timid at the beginning. But Ambode was alone and stood no chance. Moreover, all the relevant people in Lagos are Tinubu's boys.

I can tell you live in Epe part of Lagos. That was the only part of Lagos Ambode touched by repairing one or two of the roads and some food items he do distribute to them during festive periods. I guess you are missing the foods items.
