Anyways…. if a pastor objects against tithe, you as an individual, do it and satisfy your conscience with God.

Also, tithing is for God and the church use it to finance operations, projects, charity and other activities. Any pastor or group of people who stole tithes and building personal fortunes from it are incurring curse on themselves.

its not confusing. its very straightforward. if you genuinely take time to study your bible instead of waiting for the pastors who are only interested in money and power to explain the bible to you, you will not be confused

this tithe matter is long .... personally I don't give tithes, I also don't discourage people who give to stop giving ....if it works for you.. it's fine..

I'm not against tithe. Tithing is never a problem,white missionaries have done a lot through tithing. Missionary schools are all over everywhere to spread the gospel and to help needy have acess to education. I believe they were able to achieve that by offering,tithing, and donations. The Gospel is about salvation and the welfare of the needy.
Our pastors only focus on Tithing, ignoring the true course of Gospel. People begin to question the need for Tithing since it is no longer about the Gospel and welfare of the needy but about the expensive life of pastors.

As a proud Christian, I'm troubled by the current state of Christianity. While the core faith remains untainted, I believe the doctrine and leadership have strayed. Islam, in contrast, commands my respect for its unity and coherence.

Only God can save Christianity now. Our disunity has been a catastrophic mistake.

You do not have to agree with anything he said. But at least, show him the respect that age deserves. You can disagree with him in a respectful way.

To me, the issues is not whether to tithe or not, but one thing is clear: every Christian must give for the growth of the Gospel.

Lets not deceive ourselves, the Church needs funds to function. The heartbeat of any Christian is seeing the Gospel proclaimed to the ends of the earth, and this requires funds.

The generous support from Christians is how some of us got born again, either free Bibles or messages on TV (at least for me). If they had behaved the way some of us are doing, where do you think we would be?

If you're a true Christian and still debating whether or not to give to the Church, you need to check yourself.
