Well, first of all, you have made reference to me serving in the administration of former Governor Nyesom Wike who is now the FCT Minister, I am very disappointed in what the Minister is doing. He is the one orchestrating all this. He is the one who has set forth a process of destabilizing the State. I was a Commissioner in his administration so I am highly disappointed in him.

What I expected him to do was to focus on his mandate in the FCT. The FCT has some of the worst public schools in Nigeria and he has a full plate there in order to deliver service but he is not doing that instead he is focusing on how to destabilize Rivers State and obviously the Rivers people are going to resist him at every turn.

I expect the Governor to have a quick retreat with the LGA Chairmen who have just been elected to focus on education and healthcare delivery system. In Rivers State, healthcare delivery system was abandoned for eight years, I am saying this because i was there. When this Governor came in, he discovered most of the public Primary and Secondary schools do not have teachers, despite the huge investment in the past administration.

I recognize there is a desperation on the part of the FCT Minister to create a condition for a State of Emergency.

Truth is coming out.

Elephant projects aka construction projects are conduit pipes for embezzlement. Who nor know? Nigerian states are rinse and repeat. Every governor comes, first thing is to award road projects. Meanwhile, other countries have long left behind road construction as their primary goals, and have moved on to modernization and human development.
