If he can't afford to use at least a decent phone, I do not think his decision to buy the latest iPhone for his wife is right considering the cost of fixing his own phone when compared to the latest iPhone.

From the looks of things, the man has financial limitations. Why would someone like that buy an iPhone that is so expensive? Any phone that is worth more than 2 or 3 months of your salary, means the phone is out of your league. People on minimum wage can afford IPhone in America with one month earnings. Even at that , they have the option of paying as little $25 to $50 for any iPhone monthly until paid off Without interest.

I think it's foolish for a man to deprive himself in order to give his wife what she never asked for and does not need. Nothing wrong in gifting her a phone ... but must it be one he can't afford? More self sacrificing loading ... he will soon learn .....

You should know your cellphone/mobile phone is a tool to facilitate making money, which is why the man doesn’t care how his phone looks. If it makes his wife happy then of course why not. Buy it for her!
This is my opinion.
Im very sure that man can afford to get himself and his wife both new phones but a wise man should know value, priorities and importance.

It’s just like your wife saying she will never gift you a car unless she has bought 2 for herself and gifted her mum and dad cars then she will gift you one. So you will not one day say has she ever gifted someone a car.

I remember Growing up, my dad was never into latest phones. And he could damn well afford any. I think he used one Samsung flip phone but always got my mum Samsung flip phones, Motorola razr, different types of Nokia and Sony Ericsson phones.( me and my siblings all got our own phones early because of this sha thank God 😂)
His phone was just for calls and messages lol(I remember using his phone to make calls because he always had airtime credit while my mums phone was for browsing Facebook 😄) na after plenty beg him change phone to one Nokia phone.
