*sparks calls for second term, governorship bid





Distinguished Senator Lawal Adamu Usman popularly known as Mr. LA recently visited and commissioned a new school project at Abubakar Gumi Primary School in Tudun Wada, Kaduna South.



Senator Usman, who currently serves as the Chairman of the Committee on Tertiary Institutions in the Nigerian Senate, has been a staunch advocate for education, even before his election as the Senator representing Kaduna Central.



Senator Usman's commitment to education has been evident through his actions over the years.



He has consistently supported initiatives aimed at improving educational opportunities for the people of Kaduna State, including his well-known scholarship programme, which he initiated to help students in response to the fee hikes under Governor Nasir el-Rufai's administration.



The newly commissioned school project is designed to provide a world-class learning environment.



It features modern classrooms equipped with computers, solar-powered lighting and borehole water facilities to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere for both teachers and students.



During the commissioning ceremony, the people expressed their joy and appreciation for Senator Usman's dedication to their educational needs and many others.



Many in the crowd voiced their support for his continued service, with some calling for him to return to the Senate for a second term, while others enthusiastically suggested that he should consider running for the position of governor.
