Falana is so popular as a lawyer that his name is an adage in Yoruba language. Ask any elderly Yoruba person the origin of the adage "Falana ran ti e, tara eni laa ka ran".

While I like what VDM does, he clearly overstepped his boundaries and this case has proven he has a proud heart. He needs to come out and tender and unreserved apology, but instead he's using word play to justify his ignorance.
