Nigerian singer and former presidential candidate, Speed Darlington, has been released on bail after his arrest following a petition filed by fellow musician Burna Boy, who accused him of cyberbullying.

Darlington, also known for his controversial content, was detained by the police's Intelligence Response Team in Abuja. His lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, facilitated stating there was little in the petition to justify the arrest. The case gained attention after Darlington's mother publicly pleaded for his release, accusing Burna Boy and his team of involvement in her son's detention.

Nonsense! There is no excuse for the kidnapping/illegal arrest of this boy by Burna Boy. This is a clear case of overstepping one's bounds and abuse of power by the Nigerian Police. You would think Nigerians would be tired of this nonsense at this point but seems people are not ready to be rid of corruption and abuse in that country.

If Eedris is in their league, he could have arrested Burna n the past - If the scenario is flipped, can Apki order police to arrest Burna and they will oblige arresting him with cuffs? This is Nigeria where the rich are highly respected and favoured.
