The price of oil in the international market is now around $100 per barrel. That is the price of our crude oil, not refined oil. The refined oil is what we buy from the international market. The price of refined oil is now around $130 per barrel. That's the price of the refined oil.

So, if we are buying refined oil at $130 per barrel, that means we are buying it at about N1,000 per litre. Oga what's your point?

If we are buying it at about N1,000 per litre, we are paying about N3,000 at the petrol stations, and that means we are paying about N3,000 at the petrol stations, and that means we are paying about N3,000 at the petrol stations.

If we are buying it at about N1,000 per litre, that means we are paying about N3,000 at the petrol stations.

And how many people, jobs, and businesses will go down before then?

Well, I don’t know what magic you expect to happen, when we have only one private refinery, that is more concerned about return on its foreign investments than giving Nigerians cheaper fuel.

Please explain how the price will come down and when.
People keep comparing SIM card to fuel prices, saying it will come down like SIM card. They are not the same thing. Fuel is controlled by dollar while the other is not

Chu chu chu.. middle east? Hahahahaha you have the crude, you have the refinery, yet you still have to peg fuel at international rate. Emilokan, over to you. We are teaching Agulu man politics. You go suffer walai. This is just the beginning.

Every Nigerian is just even too weak to fight anymore..just last year we were buying fuel for 197. Now 1350 does this even make sense? I'm a Yoruba but to be very honest, shame on all Yorubas especially the ones who fought for Tinubu to be president. I HAVE ALWAYS KNOWN THAT TINUBU WILL MAKE A MESS BUT I DIDN'T BELIEVE IT WILL BE THIS FAST AND THIS HARD. LIKE WHY? WHAT WILL HE ACHIEVE WITH ALL THESE? IS HE NOT THE PRESIDENT AND YET THE MINISTER OF PETROLEUM?
Ever since he came in it's been one problem to the other.

What do you expect when you vote incompetent, clueless and dull man as president into power
Re: We Are Not Responsible – FG Speaks On Increase In Fuel Price by ufotunang: 8:52am On Oct 10, 2024
This is what you get when you vote based on tribalism, ethnicity, religion and ignore competency and a person with good leadership qualities

This is the result if grabbing power by force. Nobody in history of democracy has ever grabbed power by force and went on ahead to do a fantastic job with it. There was a big reason tinibu lost in Lagos because most people who did not vote forbhim know hpw lagos was from 1999-2007. If no body remembers, i do, i was just in my teens then.nigerians forget soooo quick otherwise even Buhari should not have been president.

It is highly irresponsible for the government to not intervene when prices of certain major items go up not to talk of fuel which they regulated directly or indirectly.

The government must explain the mysterious forces we don't know of that increased fuel price of NNPCL.

Only a Yoruba bastard will talk this way. No apologies for being blunt.

I seriously doubt you're Yoruba because they don't usually get this stupid.

I am a big critic of Mr Balabalu but blame Yoruba people for being the only ones who voted Tinubu in is the height of stupidity.

Did he win in Osun ? In Lagos ? Was he not neck to neck in Oyo ?

After the Igbos, Yorubas were the ones who opposed and denigrated him the most.

So you have to sit your mum down to confess your paternity.
Alaye Dake jo.

The man said the absolute truth, shame on many Yorubas for supporting this man.

We sensible ones were rooting for Osibanjo, but many useless, shameless ones named him Judas and brought this dead brain man and covered him with propaganda of how he built Lagos which we still the sensible ones knew that he did nothing while he was a governor.

The visible development in Lagos today started with Fashola, but they gave glory to Tinubu undecided

We all can now see how empty he is, his first action as the president was blunder, from one blunder to another.

You should shut up. Is that the reason to cast aspersions on an entire ethnic group?

Only bastards do that.

Tinubu had Yorubas are his most vocal critics. That's a fact. Only a big fool wouldn't see that.

By the way, with Obi's terrible record in Anambra, he wasn't even in consideration for anyone with half a brain.

But why was Osibanjo termed Judas?

Do you know the implications of each fuel increments, especially on food?

Them criticizing him is not like beating a dead horse. It's worthless, or has he had a change of heart because of them?

There are always implications to our actions, the elders, thugs, and many idiots (aside the few sensible ones like Pa Adebanjo) synergized to bring this evil man with an ego bigger than his brain to power and now you say they're criticizing.

Is it critics that will feed those who can afford common food coz of Tinubu's disastrous actions?

God forgives us!
