SmartPolician:They just called money anyhow. Which real estate company in Nigeria can boast of 400b naira portfolio investment. Maybe they calculate in the next 20 years or even more what they think it will be. Okun Ajah is not yet a thriving area to even boast of buying land for lands for 1b naira there, no matter the numbers cos you might even buy out most of the lands with the amount over there. My friend boss has 40 plot of land at back of sangotedo ShopRite in island here. By calculation a plot is 25m and those are very developed area. Let this people stop calling money cos not everybody is a fool. Their estates are always outskirts of the major areas. |

emkz:You nailed. Google win homes global estate and you will be shocked that all their estates are in remote area of island that are not yet developed but with time it will be. When you visit landmark beach, you will know the owner as at six years ago, he didn't spent 100m. Most commentators on nairaland don't knows the place. They just displayed their normal victims mentality behavior. How much is now the cost of building and worth of the prestigious Eko hotel, if landmark owner claim is beach worth 200m dollars. 99 percent of the new estates you hear that are in lekki are in very far communities cos they just attached lekki to boast their sales. |

This highway is just another means to siphon billions, they cant fix the old roads connecting lagos with the other parts of the country, they want to build a new road into the Atlantic. Jokers. |

ufotunang:Its just trying to create beachfront properties for foreign investors, but in the end its a pump and dump scheme, there is nothing economically viable in that area, just massive flooding. |

SmartPolician:250,000,000 divided by 5000 plots is 50k usd . About 80m. Plot of land plus houses they have been built on it plus property appreciation in that area. The value is reasonable 🥴 |

planetx:If I sell o ne of my house in the name of moving to Nigeria to invest, I will have £650k after taxes and fees, multiply that by N2220 That is approx N1.4B If I send the money direct from here to my account, so as You can see, I was not joking. If 10 persons send as Million Pounds each it will be £10mxN2220.N22,200,000,000. Imagine if this goes on for just 5 years, that money will overtake the stated amount on this complaint. I think you are underestimating the Forex influence of people abroad, You don't know, Also you are failing to acknowledge how shyte your naira is. |

I looked everywhere even on their website that's almost empty with no serious information, there's nothing indicating that this company is a real estate company, no development, no estate, just some people walking around talking about land. |
| Re: Lagos-Calabar Highway: Diaspora Investors Decry $250 Million Property Demolition by Afrojuju2017(m): 3:13am On Oct 11, 2024 |
NairalandForumo:Have they completed the estate, it would seem it is still under construction, and I still maintain the statement, how many units would need to be built to have a 250million dollar estate. I live in a place where the unit price is north of £550k with over 300 houses and the estate rebuild value is not even near 80million. People just throw ridiculous numbers up |

Is it that tribalism has blocked your sense of reasoning or you lack ability to read and understand? You saw where mentioned has all the documents including C of O , governor's consent and costal road clearance. Maybe you are ignorant of how real estate works. Tetrahedron: |

Afrojuju2017:As you can see, the information was not made available, that was why I refused to argue or talk about it and you can't just conclude that the estate is not worth up to that.... |
