What comes out from Google are what people posts and not Google. You tell me who is the private owner of NNPCL?
.. NNPCL is now a private company a commercial entity according to the 2021 petroleum industry act bill/ law...it's a limited liability company... with this the federal government does not fund the NNPCL anymore like before and the federal government had no direct control of the NNPCL anymore because of the petroleum Industry act law of 2021 which makes NNPCL a private company a limited liability company..so federal government does not owe NNPCL..it's owe and control by board of directors of NNPCL...that is why Tinubu does not have the power to sack Mele kyari

The price of fuel would eventually come down. It's part of the learning curve
On what basis? Just pray war does not break out in middle east that sends crude to $120 per barrel

Na that time una go hear shege.

Petrol will be like N1400 and diesel like N1700

People are hungry all over the world but they have a functional welfare system which is run by strict tax laws. So, the government supports those in need in minimal ways.

In Nigeria, if they want to widen the tax net , you will complain. Do you know US govt collects tax on tip? Let me make it clear , if you go to a restaurant, after eating, you tip the guy who serves you like 10 dollars. Do you know that guy will pay tax on that 10 USD. Imagine the hell that will descend if Nigeria govt does that.

You can’t have a robust benefit system without strict tax laws.
There is no crime in widening tax... but in country of 80% poverty... how dem you expect them to survive...

No single relief from the government and you expect people to manage?

You're an idiot
What led to occupy Nigeria protest in 2012, which was organized by people in power today?
This useless man you are praising for causing pain to Nigerians bcoz of his trial and error policies was the architect of that protest.
What has that got to do with the subject matter huh If u accuse Tinubu, a private individual of stopping Jonathan, a sitting president and commander in chief from removing fuel subsidy in 2012 and now that he is the president, no one in the whole of Nigeria could stop him from removing subsidy, despite the different days of rage protests and Russian flags, then he is the one who is fit to be president, and not that little-livered Jonathan. You just confirmed what i have said before that for the first time in the history of Nigeria from 1999, we just elected a capable President. So let's give him his time to deliver. Case closed undecided

Every Nigerian is just even too weak to fight anymore..just last year we were buying fuel for 197. Now 1350 does this even make sense? I'm a Yoruba but to be very honest, shame on all Yorubas especially the ones who fought for Tinubu to be president. I HAVE ALWAYS KNOWN THAT TINUBU WILL MAKE A MESS BUT I DIDN'T BELIEVE IT WILL BE THIS FAST AND THIS HARD. LIKE WHY? WHAT WILL HE ACHIEVE WITH ALL THESE? IS HE NOT THE PRESIDENT AND YET THE MINISTER OF PETROLEUM?
Ever since he came in it's been one problem to the other.
we must brace ourselves for the economic impacts to come, when the government refuses to take responsibility of it's actions there is serious trouble ahead for ordinary Nigerians

Has anything ever come down in this country?
Are you not ashamed of supporting this government of backwardness and wickedness?
