Hello beautiful people, is it true that there has been some revisions to EE process. It was stated that age and professional qualifications are no longer eligibility criteria. How true is this please?

Hello guys.

Please does anyone know if a transit visa is needed if one needs to take a connecting flight from the UK to Canada if the traveller has a Canadian visa?

Though I have landed in Canada this week, my conscience would not be clear if I dont come back here to give thanks.

grin 💃🏽 💃🏽 grin

I started this whole process and finished it with this thread. Silent Reader. But every information, trick and turn I got it from this thread and its references. Everything I used from beginning to the end I got from this thread and its earlier versions.

Thank you to everyone who contributes to this thread.

I started everythign in 2023. My wife and I did IELTS, evaluated our WES and got into the pool.

The day we entered the pool, next day I recieved the 'important update to your account mail'.

I used the Agric Pathway. Agri-Food Pilot. My NOC was 82030.

my timeline was:

EE Profile Created: May 2023 (whilst waiting for my Wes evaluation)
ITA: September 28th 2023
AOR: Nov 18 2023
Biometrics and Medical Request: Jan 25,2024
Biometrics and Medicals Done and Passed: Jan 28th 2024
PPR Mail: March 13th 2024
Number of days from AOR to ppr: 115 days

Na that Passport submission show me shege as they told me they lost our passport photographs and I had to resend to Ghana, I resent to Ghana finish with UPS , they said no I should have sent to their office in Lagos for them to resend to Ghana on our behalf, I resent to the office in Lagos and the whole process then moved on, after we got the passports back in Nigeria and were happy...they called from the Ghana office that they have our passports photograps and what should they do with it.

Person wey don win battle no dey vex. I took it all in my stride.

grin 💃🏽 💃🏽 grin

Note: I landed this late in Canada after recieving the passports back because we decided to take our time in Nigeria to prepare before travelling. We were doing moderately okay so no pressures. I had bought the flight tickets since March when we got the PPR.

Please read and read this thread. Your own turn too go come !

You made a mistake
The wife can’t have 486 as primary applicant with just a Bachelor’s degree
The wife will have 460 maximum point provided the two of them max out the ielts with her bn main applicant with Bsc
But she will have 492 if that Bsc change to two or more degree by writing BCS or other course you might intend to recommend
If the wife is not adding another certificate, then the husband is better suited as main applicant but just 2 point difference

Husband as main applicant if both max out ielts 462
Wife as main applicant if both max out ielts 460
Wife as main applicant if both max out ielts and adds another certification 492

Deeegbee:
Please, how did you apply for Parent’s PR. Can you kindly put me through so I can apply for my mum?
The last expression of interest was in 2020 for the parent grandparents PR visa. So they have been selecting folks to submit full application for the last 3years.

So be on the lookout for a new expression of interest.

Good day everyone, please I want to inquire about Proof of Funds.

Does my Statement of Account have to be for a period of 6 months?
Does the complete Fund need to sit in my accounts for 6 months prior to my ITA or will it matter that it recently got completed?
Do I need to move all the funds to a single account or I can submit several Statement of Account?
Where I sold properties or liquidate investments that the money enters my account recently, will it affect my POF?

Please, help me with responses. God bless you.
