I recall begging as an indigene to join some years back. Got Military officers from Lt.col and above to attest to my form as required, Nothing. At the was told that I would not be taken except I had strong connection. Applied to the Army, Navy and Airforce. Gave up at the end

There is no at least. Nigeria is divided along state lines not regional lines. If your ancestral home is not within the boundaries of Lagos, you are not a Lagosian period.
