Imagine a family of 5 to 10 children eating everyday in this Tinubu's era, it won't be easy at all

This is apart from School fees, house rent and other miscellaneous

Fuel price has gone up again which will further affect food prices in the market, where are we heading to?

life isn't easy at all I must confess. We're family of 5, if I tell you how much I spent in a month u will pity me. Imagine those men earning 150k or 200k or less in a month, I wonder how they cope.

Eating twice or thrice is now luxury under this government.

Transportation fare is high, the number of people trekking has gone up, pot bellies are now turning flat😒.
Transportation? Don't even go there.
I bought a slippers for my son from Lagos island and on getting to him it was undersized, I bought it for 8k. But when I considered that my transportation to return it for another one was 6k, I buried the thought.

Yeah, people should plan well and desist from giving birth to too many kids
Many are still ignorance hence they are prone to mistakes..

I only feel sorry for people carrying pregnancy nowadays.. especially when they are trekking.

Some of his supporters will tell you that he is working, give him time to turn things around... they are suffering and smiling but will still defend such a disaster as a president

Re: How Are Families Coping Under This Government? by discusant: 9:37pm On Oct 10, 2024
Nobody comes well with hardship. The government that inflicted the hardship had a foreknowledge of the outcome of its unguarded economic policies.

As a nice-looking guy, each time I walked on the street, the young lady would keep asking me for assistance, even guys.

I was shocked when a married woman approached me to buy her baby biscuit to eat. Dam! People are suffering. What if I get married, how will I maintain myself, wife, and my kids?

The print and electronic media do not determine my life and how I raise my family or how I go about my family's upkeep. All what I put up above took me 4 years to accomplish and we are happier for it. While people are complaining about high cost of food stuff, I have insulated my family from it.

If you decide to live your life via the media, the fear they will generate will paralyze you and the fear will spread to all around you.

Fear mongering.
You do not need more than half a plot of land to farm all a family needs for food. I have a section on my own farm where I produce tomatoes, pepper, plantain, oranges, coconut, pawpaw, ugu, water leaf and bitter leaf. My cassava I harvested from another location gave me 300kg of gari. Abakaliki rice I bought when it was still 38,000 a bag...we never finish am. Beans harvest is due in November. Corn we eat and also use some for our birds. I have palm oil from another land where I have palm trees. Same land also gives me pineapples. I have goats, chickens. The only thing I buy is onions and condiments, many of which I bought in bulk for those with long expiry dates. The problem is Nigerians do not think and do not make any effort at positive innovation. They just sit and complain and complain and complain. Even as fuel is expensive, how many have thought to save up to buy bicycles and use this as a made of transport just as is done in Tokyo and Utrecht? Feeding a family is a conscious decision which should be made by EVERY MAN worth his salt.
It is DANGEROUS to ride bicycles in many cities in Nigeria. Let's be honest when we offer solutions. In many Nigerian cities, even pedestrians cannot walk comfortably on their paths, na bicycle riders go dey comfortable?

The farming you have done is wonderful. Unfortunately, farmers in Zamfara, Borno, and Benue would beg to disagree. Youths in Enugu cooperated to open a rice farm only for Fulani herdsmen to destroy everything. Sometimes, I wonder why Nigerians sound so heartless considering the number of times they are seen in churches and mosques. During the last months of Jonathan till the early years of Buhari's first tenure, MANY Nigerians invested in farming. There were threads upon threads of Nairalanders who invested up to 10 million in various areas of agri-business. Ten million naira in 2014-2017. What happened? Fulani herdsmen ransacked farms and slaughtered people across Benue, Nasarawa, Plateau, Edo, Ogun, Enugu etc. What did fellow Nigerians do? They kept mum.

For people who claim to be so religious and godly, many Nigerians tend to be so wicked, cruel and hypocritical.

Indeed God can never come from heaven and choose a president for Nigeria, I taught Nigerians learnt a lesson after choosing buhari over gej. If we dint vote tinubu why dint we protest against it, even the person we voted for could not talk and defend our votes in the face of massive systematic rigging , when sumone said the dogs and baboon will be soaked in blood if election is rigged, he sent a very clear signal, peace is not absent of protest and conflict, infact the sufferings Nigerians re in now it’s worth a human sacrifice to avert it.
