The whole episode had insane visuals. Science Saru did really well to capture Yukinobu Tatsu's mad visual style and kinetic energy. Avant-garde visuals and animation are their forte and it shows.

They are cooking hard and I'm eating it up.

I just attempted to watch the second episode of Uzumaki and I'm not quite sure what is going on. It looks like a totally different show.

I don't know whether they blew their budget on the pilot but it went from looking the manga pages brought to life to early-mid 2000s c-list anime quality. I feel like I have been scammed.

They had to produce a 4 episode series in a 5-year production cycle and somehow still manged to f*ck it up.

I'm not even angry, I just feel deflated after getting all hyped up because of the first episode.

At least, I still have Bleach and Dandadan
