It happens. Your friend is right, you will need to load a packaged game account on the console. Depending on your location, budget at least 35k.

No. With package games, you don't get to choose. As the first responder mentioned, it'll cost you at least 35k to get the package games bundle, which often include:

Mortal Kombat 11
FIFA 24/ FC 24
PES 2024
Life is Strange
GTA 5
Resident Evil
Hustle kings

It's usually 8 to 9 games. However, you have the option to select individual games but that will cost you a lot more. Accounts with the games you desire will be purchased and logged on your console.

Now keep in mind that, logging the account with the game on your console doesn't mean the game is installed. You will have to download the file to have it on your system's drive.

Some services charge for both the account purchase and download. Other may charge for only the account purchase if you have the means to complete the download yourself e.g. Starlink, fiber optics networks, or any other ISP.

Note: If you plan to explore the option to buy accounts and do the downloads yourself, some ps4 titles can be really heavy e.g COD Modern Warfare @ 110GB. The average size of other games ranges from 30 to about 60 GB.

Again, if you can't do the downloads yourself, there are people here that can help you with that, for a fee of course. Keep in mind too that the cost of a game with both online and offline access differs from that which has offline access only.

Also, if you can do the downloads yourself, consider patronizing Asian vendors that sell bundles with great titles.

I'll Advice you to buy used Cds

Atleast you'll be able to resell it later or swap

Old ps4 cds are now cheap
Fc 24 cds are currently on sale cheap as people are now buying fc25

So many ps4 cds are around 10k to 15k

That same 35k if you buy like 3 cds
If you want to resell or swap for another game

You could still recover atleast 20k
Then add money And continue the circle

You can buy more
Some people give discounts

I recently saw someone sell off fifa 22/ fifa 23 for like 7k
