Where is the once moral that existed within our society? The rapid decline of our reverence for life is worrisome and more troubling as kids no longer see a big deal to take one's life.

Well, I attribute this moral decline mostly to so-called child right activists and parents.

Child right activists don't know their boundaries in most cases. They advocate for freedom for kids without boundaries. For instance, there's this case of a boy who refuses to get serious in school and he was becoming disobedienr. his dad flogged him at home and someone recorded it, posted it and it led to the man's arrest after activists claimed the man was wrong to beat the boy. A school he spent a lot training the boy.

Then to many parents in Nigeria, they see teachers as unfortunate individuals who relied on them for their food so they tend to tell teachers how to train up kids. A child misbehave and you flog him then his or her parents shows up, fighting you for telling their child to kneel down for too long or fetch water because even them that gave birth to the child don't do that.

Lots of the ills we see today are a product of wrong parenting and unguided freedom.

Students shout and talk nonsense to their teachers without fear, they insult leaders in front of their parents and the parent do nothing about it...

Morality and goodness now means money and fame. Once you have it, regardless of that you do, you re moral, and am afraid that's becoming a norm
