Racoon:
Sadly in 2015, the leadership of the country was taken over by a character that was not only clueless about the economy, he also had no interest in fixing it and as a result of this the economy of the country plummeted for eight straight years under his rudderless leadership.

The country had another opportunity in 2023 when a new leader was elected. Sadly hopes were dashed when another questionable character was imposed on the country under very dubious circumstances as president. The notorious "nah statistics we go chop" CSU certificate forger.

The resultant effect is that the country's economy has continued to plummet as a result of the mismanagement of the country's resources and the rudderless economic policies of the administration. From top to bottom. Fear APC! Irredeemable senseless bunch of idiots.
The leaders before 2015, were also equally clueless

The leaders before 2015 did the same thing that the ones after did....subsides, mroe subsides, more borrowing to keep up appearances, and did not even fight corruption adequately.

As a result, they were replaced with the leaders after 2015, who did the same thing.

Meanwhile, NIgeria's problem even under oga t-pain remains the same...we are not making enough money, and the oil money cannot hide the cracks.

You and your agbado pals better face reality.

Nigeria must industrialize. NO excuses.

We are a broke nation. the stealling happening makes it worse. We need a government that would make us more money.

But you and your friends in the agabao rulership do not see that.

Enjoy the pretence. We are rich, we have 30 trillion naira that can feed 250 million nigerians.... grin

Just look at someone some people from his region are still defending like they have done Nigeria a very good thing, I'm still dealing with some of them this morning on Nairaland and you wonder why Nigeria is the way it...

This is one major reason I want Nigeria to divide into different countries, our ideologies are not the same
It's rather that we are different entities or ethnic groups, not really the ideology.

So, enjoy your new nations. cheesy

cheesy

I know Nigerians.

Many NIgerians have one ideology....that if we can just stop corruption everything would be all right. cheesy

The hard truth is that corruption is just one of our problems. Our real problem is that a nation of 260 million people is sharing an income that is less than what Spain spends for healthcare...and Spain is regarded as one of Europe's 'bad' economies.

If we split the country, the same people will demand for good schools, hospitals, cheap fuel, and so forth, on impossibly low incomes, and call those who point out that fact corrupt and demonic.

Till we are ready to face reality, we are not fit to be divided into countries, or even to sustain this one.
Why does Tinubu forget this Spain healthcare analysis when he buys billions jet, yacht, Escalade and travels without paying back the costs?
Do you know why your sinator and representaThief forgot about Spain healthcare spend when they bought SUVs?

Till you are ready to face reality of misplaced aggression, you are not fit to open your mouth to vomit balablu nonsense.

[quote author=NLCreator post=126854133]Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 elections, has defended the purchase of sports utility vehicles (SUVs) for members of the national assembly.

There have been reports that the leadership of the 10th national assembly has bought SUVs for all lawmakers.

Each SUV is said to be valued at N160 million.

The LP had asked members of the party in the national assembly to kick against “wastage”.

While responding to questions during a press conference in Abuja on Monday, the former governor of Anambra said the SUVs are not personal cars of the lawmakers, noting that they are for official use.

“Let me start with the issue of Labour Party members in the house. I have actually discussed this issue with them,” Obi said.

“Surprisingly, I can tell you I heard that these vehicles are official cars. They have to use it. It is meant for office.

“So it is not as if it is their vehicle. They said it is official cars and you are meant to use it while you are in the senate.”

Obi also hinted at contesting for the country’s number one position in 2027, adding that Nigeria deserves dedicated and visionary leaders who will lead the country towards a brighter future.

Nigeria is the way it is, because people think that the world owes them a living.

For example, we want good light, good water, cheap food, cheap petrol, good railways, good roads, schools and unis that look like those in saner climes, and we want all that on a budget of less than 20 billion dollars us....where some of the saner climes spend 50 billion for health care alone.

70% of the country does not pay tax, 40% of the country does not pay for power bills and the rest mostly underpay, and petrol subsidy would need to eat two thirds of our budget if we had to pay for fuel at N100 per liter

And you think the same issues won't follow us into our new countries?

Developed countries made hard choices to get to where they are.
See here? Working hard for agbado are you not?

Nonexisting:
Majority of the people that defended Buhari's impunity were Yorubas and they did not do it because they loved Buhari or liked his policies. They did solely out of hypocrisy and for selfishness that he will hand over power to them. No need beating around the bush over this.
True, but some of them are also northerners.

And you gave the reason why the Yorubas who supported Buhari did what they did.

But I'm talking about people who supported Buhari because they were blind to his faults. Not the lying fools who knew what they were doing.
