If Tinubu had put fuel price at ₦300 and dollars @ ₦ 900, Nigerians would have been screaming same way not knowing that the bigger thing is still ahead. By 2027, the next person that will win will start his/ her own policies and dollars and fuel will get to above the present value and we will start another round of complaining. So Long Nigerians living in UK and US complains on one thing or the other everyday, then the complaining just started.

So to get out of this mess we must double of crude oil production so as to service our loan and get reasonable amount of feedstock for local refineries.

What do you expect the poor woman who has to pay more for transporting her goods down to the market place to do because of the increase in fuel price? Or that everytime she has to go purchase her goods to resell, the cost increases every single time? Or the landlord that has to give more money to his wife for food because of the increase in food prices? Or that he has to pay more to fuel his car?

What I had to pay for my children's school textbooks and notebooks this term wasn't a joke. The publishers who also sold to the school must have also increased their prices and the school must make their gain as well. If you have an idea of how economics work, you'll know these things have ripple effect.
