I hope you know that if the INEC Chairman's office becomes vacant for any reason, it is the President that will appoint a replacement. So canvassing for his removal may not be in your interest. Any way, I think Mr Mahmood's term will expire before the next election. That means the President will have an opportunity to appoint a new Chairman before 2027. |

Ebubu:Well, I don't know about an INEC Chairman rigging. One thing is sure though, the President will not appoint someone he is sure will stand in his way. On that basis, the next INEC Chairman is likely to come from the South South. Messrs Wike, Akpabio, and Oshiomole will be given the task of identifying a 'suitable' person for the President. This combo is bad news for the opposition. Unlike GEJ, Mr Tinubu will not 'loose guard' on who the next INEC Chairman is. So, that person is unlikely to be a Northerner. 1 Like |

Resignation wont solve anything, we simply dont want any presidential and governor's election to be conducted by any nigerian organizations, we want them to be conducted by an international observers. |
