It's only when Hausa-Fulani submit secession letter that Nigeria will cease to exist but for now they're the ones Britain handed Nigeria over, and the oil wealth of the country to be using as proxy to be sucking the wealth of the country to benefit their nation. |

This won't work. It wont change anything. You can’t be campaigning for Yoruba nation with just a handful of people not up to 0.2% of the Yoruba population. To achieve Yoruba nation, You could have approached it in 3 different fronts before involving the outside world. 1. Get your self elected into high political offices through the popular parties, perform well and garner more supporters to your cause underground. Move through the political landscape to the Federal legislature while sticking to your game-plan from the beginning. 2. Become a strong opposition politically to any government in power in Nigeria while using your machinery, social media and money to swarve people to your cause. Don't be like N. Kanu who is trying to fight Nigeria without politics, Dem go carry you for treason. Be an opposition in politics. If they come near you people will term it victimisation and dictatorship. 3. Wait for the right moment to fight in the open. Every government has its bad times. Let the people be in uproar about something that affects the Yoruba people adversely and directly e.g. Herdsmen or kidnapping. In the midst of the chaos, bring out the Yoruba nation agenda. And then, you'll be surprised how the people will be the ones fighting the government for the Yoruba nation. |

Iceberg3:exactly what we discussed yesterday, the children of all the people that fought for us to gain independence are no where to be found, no one is hearing anything about them. The country forgot them totally while the evil ones are enjoying the benefits brought by their father. |

RevDesm0ndJuju:My friend go and watch what Senator Opeyemi Bamidele of ekiti said in support of the northern senators who rejected regional government, he said returning to regional government is automatically given south east biafra, igbos have always demanded a return to regional government , do you know how the six geopolitical zones came to be ? It was a Creation of alex ekwueme who led the campaign of a return to regional government, he proposed a six regional government with six prime ministers heading these regions to decentralized power from the center, back then during the time abacha was head of state , he continued after Nigeria returned to democracy under Obasanjo , it was never implemented , Ohanaeze Ndigbo supported regional government, can you tell me any effort the yoruba's made for a return to regional government like the igbos? |

RevDesm0ndJuju:Again you still don't have sense. Did you see any picture that showed Ojukwu welcoming decree 34? Again decree 34 never abolished regional governance as the regions were still there albeit under military governors, so we know the person who destroyed regions and created states with decree 8, unless you have decided to curse yourself by lying. |

British officials will say: who the f...ck wants to alter the map of Africa? Nigeria is Britain's plantation. The political configuration of Nigeria suits Britain's economic desires. The political configuration of Nigeria consigns choice of apex political leadership of Nigeria largely on the hands of northern Nigeria. This enables Britain to harness the natural resources in the south of Nigeria and pay tokens to Nigeria's successive governments. Any Nigerian group from the south which tries to upturn the political equation in Nigeria is fought against with all the negative propaganda and possible firepower available. |

Mrfeel:You have a good argument. Although I thought Emeka Anyaoku was the protagonist of turning the six geopolitical zones into federating units. See, yoruba have always been at the forefront of true federalism since the days of Awolowo. In fact, Awolowo went to prison for alleged treason of planning mutiny of the Western region against the federal government. The yoruba have always loved to do their own thing in their own ways . Remember that they still have strong regional structures and practices such as DAWN commission, June 12 democracy day (which was nationalized by Buhari), Agbekoya and OPC, which are trans-states western regional associations, and so on. The reason, I think, Tinubu is not using the federal power to force a return to regional government/real federalism is because he is indeed not a yoruba candidate. He may have rode on the emilokan mantra but his electoral victory was made possible because of his northern votes and alliances, so thinking he would stab them by implementing fiscal federalism is not feasible. I totally believe that we need to curb the moral deficiency in every Nigerian, but the average corruption is being masked with tribalism. So we need to deconstruct the structure so that Mr. A will be judged by Mr. A's action and not A's origin, going forward. It's total devolution of powers to regions or breakup. |

Realtruth2023:You are not being truthful here, even to yourself. Nigeria has only flag independence. If not for fear of what the reaction of Great Britain will be if any Nigerian group unilaterally opts out of Nigeria, most dysfunctional Nigeria would have since become deamalgamated. If any of the three major ethnic groups in Nigeria decides to opt out of the country unilaterally, no ethnic group, or combination of ethnic groups, in Nigeria without Britain's backing, is capable of fighting back to Nigeria any of the three major ethnic groups that opts out of Nigeria unilaterally. |
